About Me
My name is Ajoyous Hough, and I am the founder of A Joyous Occasion Bartending Service and Company. Originally from Charlotte, NC, I moved to Atlanta in 2017 to pursue my passion for a new adventure not expecting for it to be in the hospitality industry. I sharpened my skills at Public Bartending School of Atlanta, where I graduated and set out on a professional bartending journey.
Over the years, I’ve worked in a wide range of environments—including neighborhood bars, cigar lounges, nightclubs, and dive bars—each experience teaching me something new about the art of mixology and exceptional service. These diverse settings have shaped me into a versatile and creative bartender.
Today, less than ten years after entering the field, I’ve launched my own bartending service. My mission is to maximize my craft and share the unique flair, enthusiasm, and skill that I bring to every event. With A Joyous Occasion, I’m excited to create memorable experiences and raise the bar for every celebration.
