The Campus Activities & Advocacy Board (CAAB) is here to help you never judge a book by its cover as we host Blind Date with a Book! The idea is simple - we wrap books (so you can't see the cover) and share the genre and one small blurb about the book. You choose the book that sounds most interesting to you!

In addition to the Blind Date Book Pick-up, CAAB will also be Blind Date with a Book Coffee House - an opportunity to visit the Student Life Coffee House (also known as the SLSC after hours), read your book in a cozy space, enjoy a warm cup of coffee (tea and hot cocoa will be available too), and connect with others about their books if you so desire. There is absolutely NO requirement for reading a certain amount of pages. It's simply a time to gather informally, hang out in a cozy space, dedicate an hour so self care and reading, and build community with your peers.
