Meet Picosa, a spunky and confident 2-year-old spayed female terrier mix.
Picosa is a 2-year-old spayed female white-and-tan terrier mix with a bold, lively personality that truly matches her name — it means “spicy”! She joined us from Downey Animal Shelter and has been full of life ever since. This confident little lady loves attention and prefers to be the star of the show. Because she can be protective of her food and toys, Picosa would do best in a home without small children and ideally as the only pet. In the right home, her happy spirit and big personality will make her a fun and devoted companion. Come meet Picosa today!
The Laguna Beach Animal Shelter adoption procedures are designed to make sure that both the potential family and the animal adopted are in the very best situation possible. The Laguna Beach Animal Shelter is located at 20612 Laguna Canyon Road. For any questions, please call (949) 497-3552.

New Exhibition by MFA students from LCAD: A New Tide
January 12 – March 5, 2026 at Laguna Beach City Hall, 505 Forest Ave
A New Tide is an exhibition of recent artwork by Master of Fine Arts students from Laguna College of Art + Design. The new year is a time to reflect on the past and make choices on where we are headed. 2026 will be an eventful year. Cyclical changes, like the tide, influence our lives and alter our sense of normality. These artists employ skills from the past as they adapt to the unknown, aware that the arts are a living and constantly evolving cultural inheritance.
Cultural Arts Funding Grants
The City of Laguna Beach is now accepting applications from nonprofit organizations whose primary mission and experience are centered on presenting arts programming. Funded projects must take place in Laguna Beach and support new or expanded arts services that are not currently offered.
Deadline: February 2, 2026
