Hi!
About Me
I didn’t come into film through the traditional route. My first career was in kitchens — high-pressure, fast-paced, demanding environments where I learned to stay calm under pressure, think on my feet, and work seamlessly with a team. For years I was a chef, but deep down I knew I wanted to tell stories — not just plate them.
That hunger to create led me to retrain and fully immerse myself in film & TV. I began by studying at UWE Bristol, actively engaging in a wide range of opportunities to build my experience. I took on roles developing my skills as an assistant director, production sound mixer, recordist, and sound designer — gaining a real understanding of what it takes to bring a story to life from behind the scenes.
Alongside this, my voice is evolving as a writer. In my spare time, I develop my concepts into scripts. Additionally, I recognise my potential in creating pitch decks, and building visual treatments, all with the goal of becoming a director. I’m drawn to grounded, socially driven stories with themes revolving around identity — often blending realism with genre elements like sci-fi or dystopia.
My first professional credit as a floor runner came on Channel 4's 'First Dates', a fast-moving production where I put everything I’d learned into practice and proved myself in a high-stakes, real-world environment - coordinating schedules and even directing contributors, whilst aiding the DoP around the heart of Bath. It was a turning point — the moment I knew I could do this.
Now, I’m looking to take the next step. I’m ready to grow my specialisms further, seeking assistant/trainee roles in assistant directing, casting and sound. I want to keep learning, keep building, and keep telling stories that matter — whether I’m supporting someone else’s vision or developing my own.
I’m based in Bath, have a full UK driving licence, and I’m always up for a challenge. Let’s make something powerful.
Spooky Stories (2025) | Brook Sexual Health | Student Commercial
Sound Designer
At a remote woodland cabin, a Scouts leader named Derek is midway through telling a terrifying (and wildly inappropriate) ghost story to a group of teens — only to be interrupted by fellow camp leader Sheila. As Derek’s “lesson” takes an absurd turn, Sheila shuts him down and redirects the group with genuine, practical advice, pointing them toward Brook, a real sexual health support service. This short, comedic PSA blends parody horror with sex education, ultimately delivering a clear and responsible message with tongue-in-cheek humour.
Desk Drawer (2025)
First Assistant Director | Sound Designer
Late at night in a cluttered office, a struggling writer named Ernie discovers a tiny man — Norman — living inside his desk drawer, endlessly typing nonsense for a mysterious boss named Mr Henry. As Ernie questions his own reality, a surreal encounter with a disembodied Hand forces him to confront his isolation, fear of failure, and the meaning behind his creative efforts. Darkly funny and quietly profound, Desk Draw explores the absurd pressure to produce, and the strange comfort found in avoidance.
The Enduring Legacy of Gus Comstock (2025)
Production Sound Mixer/Recordist | Sound Designer | Foley Artist
In a small-town American diner in 1927, war veteran Gus Comstock attempts to reclaim the world record for most cups of coffee consumed in a single sitting. Flanked by skeptical press, a disinterested doctor, and a chalkboard tallying his progress, Gus powers through cup after cup with determination and charm. But as the caffeine mounts, Gus begins to hallucinate — confronting surreal visions, a worm with a military face, and a ghost from his past: Virgil, a fallen comrade from the war. What begins as a quirky endurance stunt quickly spirals into a feverish psychological reckoning. Gus is forced to confront the trauma he’s been avoiding for a decade, buried under layers of bravado and caffeine. As reality fractures and memory takes over, the line between record-breaking and self-destruction blurs. Inspired by the true story of Gus Comstock’s infamous 85-cup record, this darkly comedic and deeply human short explores memory, masculinity, and the strange ways we chase meaning — one cup at a time. Nominated for the best Entertainment category at the RTS south west student awards 2025 - taking home craft awards for Sound design.
Sentence by Salt (2024) | Action on Salt | Student Commercial
Second Assistant Director
In this striking 30-second PSA, a young girl finds herself unexpectedly on trial — judged not by a jury of peers, but by the imposing figure of Judge X. S. Salt. As she stands silently, the verdict is delivered: a lifetime sentence of high blood pressure, relentless thirst, and elevated risk of heart disease. Created for Action on Salt, 'Sentenced by Salt' uses the surreal courtroom setting to deliver a powerful warning about the hidden dangers of excessive salt consumption. Winner of best in brief at the Kodak-nahemi 16mm commercial awards 2024.
