What is a built in flash?
Built-in flash is an integrated part of most modern cameras today. The built-in flash is designed with the camera as an integrated system so it creates perfectly exposed pictures most of the time. It can be used as fill-flash or if it is used inside, as ambient lighting for a whole scene. Fill flash describes flash used to create ambient light in order to highlight a subject close to the camera that would otherwise be in shade relative to the rest of the scene.
How to change thE BUILT IN FLASH SETTINGS.
Flash mode: This option allows you to set the flash power manually instead of the camera setting it automatically. If you click the option, the Flash Exposure Compensation control on the menu is replaced by a Flash Output option. Set the flash power using that option.
Shutter Sync: The flash fires at the beginning of the exposure. The flash timing, known as 1st Curtain sync, is the best decision for most of your subjects. But, if you use a very slow shutter speed and you’re taking a photo of a moving object, 1st Curtain sync causes the blur that results from the motion to appear in front of the object. To solve the problem, you can change the Shutter Sync option to 2nd Curtain sync (known as rear-curtain sync). In this mode, the motion trails appear behind the object that is moving. The flash fires twice in this mode: once when you press the shutter button and again at the end of the exposure.
Flash Exposure Compensation: This adjusts the power of the built-in flash. Below 0 and downwards means the power of the flash will decrease and 0 and upwards means the power will increase.
Wireless Func: When you allow this option, you can use the built-in flash to trigger remote flash units.
