TRaewyn Jewelry A Little Look Book
TRaewyn Jewelry inspired by Gaia, by Mother Earth, The many different Goddess's, The Wild Woman and the Love of the Earth, the Forests, The Mountains and the Ocean...Jewelry celebrating our connection to Mother Gaia. Representing love and gratitude to her, for all that she gives... To the ancients, gemstones and crystals were a bridge to the sacred energies of Gaia, Mother Earth and a direct link to the unseen realms of the Divine, a connection to the sacred medicine of the earth.
The Jewelry is created using clay, by the hands of the artist. It is a slow and loving process working with clay, and the end result is a unique and one of a kind piece.
The jewelry captures the essence of the wild woman, the woman who is in touch with her instincts, loyal of heart, the dreamer, the storyteller, her strength and her endurance.
For centuries crystals have been used to heal. Such experiences have been documented in Sanskrit and thread various cultures and civilizations throughout time. The Mayans, American Indians, and various Latin American and Indian cultures all contain histories rich with stone healing. It is in fact debatable whether jewelry was originally invented for adornment or healing.
Crystals grow in the earth’s crust over millions of years at high pressures and heat making them the objects on earth with the most energy. Having a crystal on you or within your electromagnetic field (3 feet surrounding you), raises your vibrational level by refracting and reflecting light into your auric field. This is a process much like acupuncture, which filters out stagnant energy. Though crystals will also filter their unique properties into your auric field as well.
“I learned about the sacred art of self decoration with the monarch butterflies perched atop my head, lightning bugs as my night jewelry, and emerald-green frogs as bracelets.” ― Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Women Who Run With the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype
Each piece of Jewelry is created by hand, using clay mediums and hand picked gemstones and crystals. There are no mass produced items here... The necklaces are made with love and attention to detail.
