Richardson, Texas, 04/26/2020. Omarion, a high school student, performs agility training with his family in Huffines Park three times a week in hopes of making the varsity football team at Berkner High School in the fall.

When Texas gyms and sports facilities were closed to contain the spread of COVID-19, athletes and fitness buffs resorted to outdoor activities to maintain their active lifestyles. Parks exempted from closure became training grounds.

Richardson, Texas, 04/26/2020. COVID-19 has left the LA Fitness gym location in Richardson with an empty parking lot. The gym closed until further notice to comply with Dallas County's new ordinance.

Richardson, Texas, 04/26/2020. A group of six men play football at Huffines Park to stay active during the social isolation season. One of the members wore a bandana as a mask while he played with his friends. The group kept their distance from other park attendees as they scrimmaged.

Richardson, Texas, 04/30/2020. The Reef Point Yoga studio has been closed since it was considered a non-essential health care operation. Although it closed, the studio has started to host classes weekly through Facebook live so that participants can tune in from the comfort of their homes.

The entire family visits Huffines Park three times a week to help Omarion train for the Berkner High School varsity football team next year.
