Minor White was considered to be an American Photographer. Minor White was born July 9, 1908, died June 24, 1976. He photography style was expressions that were influenced in the mid-20th century.

Peeled Paint, Rochester, New York 1959

In this work "Peeled Paint" seems to represent the inner soul . With the peeling of the paint, it is showing the inner soul we all possess. As the paint curls at the bottom, it is represented by the different layers of our being. In the upper left hand corner is what appears to be a crucifix. The crucifix is joining the image and displaying we are together as ONE.

Pacific, Devil's Slide, California

1947 this work of art is representing the calmness between the skies and ocean. You can see a hint of the clouds showing though, and the reflection of the water between them. It has a sense of depth. Minor White is able to captivate the powerful ocean and the calmness of the skies all in one photograph.

In this piece of work, we see Bullet Holes. The Bullet Holes are in a medium size grouping, yet the anger of the right image is shown. The formation appears to be that of a angry beast, the head in the shape of a dragon, with the long lines defining the body.

the motion in this image makes the photo feel more real. The lines in the wood, the texture of the sheet and the framing of the image all enhance it. Looking at the image on appears to be smiling at the person as they are running freely down the street.

Wall, Santa Fe, New Mexico 1966

This piece of art seems to be representing the difficulties between oneself. The image is looking upwards, towards the Heavens, appearing to be distraught looking for an answer. Contemplating what his next step is going to be. The dead tree in the distance that is turning to a splinter of wood, maybe the end is near for the person.
