From the beautiful island of Antigua comes to you, Cha-li-x “aka” the 24th letter ( X ). In the mid 90,s cha-li-x started his musical journey on the local music scene as a young hip hop artist.

Influenced by reggae greats such as Bob Marley, Culture, Beenie man & a list of great reggae artist. Hometown heroes like King short shirt, bands like the Burning flames helped to pave the way for cha-li-x to create his own unique sound,which is a mix between hip hop,reggae & calypso soca

By the late 1990,s cha-li-x made a leap into the local dancehall scene where he quickly gained recognition ( Sha Sha Marni DJ of the year ).Then in the early 2000,s cha-li-x released a string of hits ( Bling bling,All color,x it out & more ) which gained popularity on the local scene. In 2008 cha-li-x merged with Lee p Ching, where together they brought back the sounds of the local folk music ( Benna ).Releasing hits like Wadadly i’m from,Let me tell you,Lets go dancing,Theme cars & more they evolved the folk music ( Benna )

2013 cha-li-x went back to being a solo act and releasing the Benna Gone Global album. Today cha-li-x still puts out his music to Antigua and the World in hopes of being influential to other artist & musicians around the Globe.
