Happy New Year Frees Family Greetings—2021

We are sending our love to those far and near, along with best wishes for a happy new year. 2020 was crazy, but we had some hope. 2021 should be better, right? Hmm, that’s a nope! With new strains of the virus and parental caregiving, the concerns and demands made for some stressful living. Still, there’s much to give thanks for like more time spent together, plus health, faith, and outings in nice, sunny weather. As you look back on all that happened this year, we hope you find smiles that outweigh any tears. May your next year be filled with good things from above, like humor and music, and laughter and love.

Venturing Out

Greg and I took short trips to Carmel, SF and Santa Cruz and enjoyed outdoor dining. Daniel returned to in-person learning at UCLA and Michelle began her Genetic Counseling MS at Stanford.

Family Wine Weekend!

Nearly a year after Daniel’s 21st birthday, our extended family came together to celebrate with a wine country weekend. Morning walks, sunshine, yummy food and wine, yea!

Family Trip to San Diego

Before the kids returned to school, we enjoyed a week in San Diego. Daniel surfed daily at Windansea beach, Michelle’s boyfriend Alex joined us for a few days. The “kids” enjoyed checking out the local bars and speakeasies and we all enjoyed the hot tub and the beach.
