Update about Hybrid Learning
As Superintendent Morelock mentioned in his Friday folder last week, scheduling two different schedules for secondary students has proven difficult. We are currently trying to finalize what our bell schedules will look like in each model to best serve our students in accessing the courses they need. Our priority is to maximize course offerings in each model while balancing the staffing options for coursework. Parents and students will receive email communication this week when we finalize our daily and weekly schedules. Thank you for your patience as we continue to navigate the ever changing guidance from the state.
The Secondary Principals will hold a virtual Hybrid Informational Session on Tuesday, April 6th at 6:00pm via Zoom. You can use THIS LINK to access the webinar.
Please continue checking the Hybrid Learning FAQ document as we get closer and closer to April 19th. As you have questions, please reach out! This is new for all of us and we will continue to work to create the best experience possible for our students!

SAFE Oregon Tip Line
Many districts across the State have adopted SAFE Oregon as their primary tip line. This summer, the Newberg School District has made it the primary source for reporting any issues that need the attention of the school. Tips can be sent by phone, text, via the web or through an app. At the high school, students have received this information in their class assemblies and school-wide safety videos. Encourage your student to download the app and/or put the number into their phone. If you would like more information regarding the tip line, please visit SAFEOregon.com.
