We welcome new international students as they arrive in the US and immediately gather them together to do fun things. Our Sunset Dinner Bat Cruise pictured here is one of our more popular activities.
Hiking is a popular event! As we spend time together with students, we get to know them and share our lives with them and what it means to know Jesus. It's amazing to see students open up in the midst of God's creation.
We have weekly Family Groups where students gather together in an American home for dinner, a Bible discussion and games. This is where we become a "home away from home" for so many students.
Fall Retreat is an opportunity for our students to meet new friends and to be challenged with who Jesus is from highly esteemed speakers.
We love parties, and our Christmas Party is a great opportunity to celebrate the Birth of Christ with those who are exploring Jesus. Students are challenged with the significance of Jesus' birth.
Holidays are opportunities to connect on deeper levels. Here we are celebrating the Lunar New Year and learning different aspects of various cultures.
Jesus' words on the Main Building at UT express our heart for these students from around the world...for them to know the truth of the Gospel and to live lives free in Christ.
There are about 8,000 international students from over 130 countries on the UT campus and over 20,000 International students on campuses across the Austin area. The Lord has brought the nations here for us to love them and to share with them what it means to know God personally.
"After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb." Rev. 7:9
It is seeing the students of the world engage Jesus and the Gospel, equipping them in their faith and sending them out to the nations. What Starts Here Changes the World as international students are sent out from here, changed by the Gospel, to be used by God in the lives of others wherever they go.
We invite you to partner with us in what God is doing at UT, the Austin area campuses and ultimately the world.
