Domestic Interior design trends 2020 By Daniel Ayala

The image below is an example of Typography trends based in 2020. In modern age interior design sans serif is out and serif is in! Most room designs do not have too much wording displayed, but if they do its definitely a fun and abnormal serif font to add atmosphere to the room.

This image below is an example of color trends that are relevant to interior design in 2020. Soft colors are used majority of the time such as grays, whites, off whites, light blue, beige etc. Usually an aesthetic is wanted for the room leading most people to match their furniture and accessories to the color of the room or vice versa.

The image below is an example of materials and textures that are widely popular in 2020, as well as a few years prior. In most urban houses and apartments, copper or brass objects and accessories are very common in multiple rooms. Copper is usually very dark yet shiny and is complimentary to lighter colors such as grays, whites, or blues. Two or three seated European couches are also very popular. These couches sit low the the ground and are very stylish to the eye. Throw pillows and blankets are very in right now since they make for a welcoming and cozy looking couch. These throw blankets are also a great accessory to match another piece of furniture or object in the room to overall tie the room together.
