This week, we started thinking about cooking and nutrition which we are learning about in our DT lessons.
We are going to learn how to make a spaghetti bolognese and the ingredients needed to do this.
This week, we had to list what we thought we might need then we learned a bit more about the ‘farm to fork’ process.
.
This week, we also reflected on our learning and experiences we were given in Term 1. We looked through our class blogs to help us do this.
We made notes and then typed them up ready for our end of year report comments…how organised!
We also continued our learning about South America and this week, we looked at the flags of the South American countries.
We had to identify the countries the flags belonged to then….
….we used our knowledge of symmetry to identify the symmetry in the flags.
On Friday, is was our class assembly.
We presented to the school and our parents and about the community event we held last half term.
We shared our learning about our community and its diverse nature and how we planned the event: Unique but United.
Finally, we held our final Live Theatre workshop where we reflected upon and evaluated the work we had carried out.
We answered questions and responded to statements about the workshops held in school, the work at the Live Theatre and the actual performance of ‘Blitzen on the Tyne’ which we helped to write.
All in all, we are proud of the input we had in the production of the performance at the Live Theatre.
