My taproot gets its nourishment from grounding in the etymology of the meaning of the word "Heal." To heal, in its origin, means "to make whole." To be whole, is to reside in a state of "undivided or unbroken completeness or totality with nothing wanting."
Allow me to pose this ponderable: Why are we so bent on being broken and ever in a state of lack?
Have you come to the crossroad where you realize your wholeness isn't conditionally based on situations and circumstances? When one chooses to recline in the repose of the being-ness of wholeness, you are so very able to accept and transcend "limitation." You allow yourself comfort even when in discomfort. And ease in dis-ease. In this state, you allow yourself to move from "existing" and splash flat footed smack in the middle of the glorious puddle of LIVING! And oh how yummy that experience is for me personally! It is in this state where I changed my life! Would you agree that when you boil everything back to bone what bears weight are results? I won't butter your biscuits with a big smile and tell you the path to this point was a breeze! What I can tell you is when I am more concerned about the means rather than the end and the more I dedicate myself to mySELF, being honest, open and holding compassion for what I have created myself into becoming, it truly does become so very tasty! :D
I have adopted the term "Immersist" for myself as that is what I practice, facilitate, teach and embrace without reservation! In my experience, to practice the Art of Presence one must imbue, meaning you saturate and cause yourself to absorb the essence of every moment. Presence is not merely to focus on one thing, person or place at a time. It is the exercise and execution of experiencing ALL that is happening right here and right now in every singular space in time! The more one realizes and acknowledges how precious presence is, on an individual basis as a valuable commodity, the more value one begins to assign to themselves, others and this profoundly astounding environment we reside in!
Let me be clear, at first, this is not just a "fly by the seat of your pants" kind of adventure! It requires self-discipline and an awareness beyond the self and the personal personae one has chosen to wear to interact with this world and her inhabitants. I know, I know! For many, upon hearing "self-discipline" you can feel your back arch up like a cat in defense and a pronounced "Hisssss" resonate throughout your being! I feel you! I was the girl at the very TOP of your list to hang out with when you were up for a great time! I had no self control, very little self-esteem, devoid of self-worth (this one in particular was the acknowledgement that liberated me from a lifetime of patterns of habit) ... yet I could make everybody in the room with me feel utterly AMAZING and be the best cheerleader and encourager you ever had in your life! I had to reach the point in my early 40's where my body stepped in with one last attempt to say "look lady, you change or you're done on this rock!" And I am in no way exaggerating! I speak from personal experience my darlin's. .... but I digress ...
There are simply 2 things you, with absolute certainty control in your world:
#1 The Choice you make in this very moment
#2 Your Conscious Breath
Just the basic awareness of those two things revolutionize your entire way of being in each and every moment! It matters not whether you are head long into the corporate race or braiding a daisy chain in a meadow! Your habit of thought creates your habit of action. Period. Until you recognize, acknowledge and then release and reconstruct these patterns, how can you possibly expect anything to be different in your life? Sounds like such an arduous process doesn't it! Would you trust a woman you have never met when she confidently speaks to you that it truthfully and assuredly is NOT! And at this juncture, I circle you back to TASTY!
I am entirely transparent with you when I say ... I’m not here to “fix” you, to “heal” you or “save” you ... and why am I so upfront and blunt about this? Because my beautiful brother or sister...NO ONE can do that for you ....... EXCEPT YOU!!!
