"My favorite book is Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. It is my favorite book because it is very well written and the character development is amazing. It keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time and I have never read anything like it," Anna Timme, junior, said.
"My favorite book is probably Paper Towns by John Green. I don't really have time to read a lot now but I remember reading this when I was younger and really liking it and being excited to see the movie right after I read it," Margaret Mackinnon, junior, said.
"One of my favorite books that I read a long time ago is Wonder by R. J. Palacio and one of the reasons I've liked this book for so long is because it's a great reminder to everyone of the effects of kindness. This book teaches that it doesn't matter if you're different than everyone else because everyone deserves kindness," Brayden Meyer, sophomore, said.
"I think my favorite series is Caraval by Stephanie Garber because I love all the characters and the plot line is so creative and interesting," Taylor Apel, junior, said.
"My favorite book is To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han. This book is about a girl who had written love letters to every boy that she has loved in the past but never sent them. When her sister mails out all the letters, she has to deal with the aftermath. I love this book because the characters were written really well and realistically, and it's funny and romantic ... Even if you have seen the movie that came out, I highly recommend still reading the book," Megan Case, junior, said.
"My favorite book is The Siren by Kiera Cass ... it talks about serving a higher purpose and the power of voice," Ellie Doerr, junior, said.
"My favorite book is Educated by Tara Westover because it's an unbelievable and amazing book and it's also a true story. It's about a girl that educates herself and escapes from her obsessively strict, racist, survivalist family. I love this book so much because Tara doesn't sugarcoat her story and she shows how hard it was to leave her family behind," Ava McNarney, junior, said.
