  • Mission: The CARE Conference exists to advance the collective, interdisciplinary conversation for those called to Christ-centered work with vulnerable children and viable communities.
  • Vision: By gathering strategic thought leaders from across the globe, the CARE Conference will provide opportunities for students to dialogue with experts, present their own research in a collaborative environment, and hone best practices. Those who attend will leave encouraged in their calling and equipped in their field.

Please save the date for our Care Conference: Vulnerable Children and Viable Communities at Taylor University in Upland, IN on February 27th and 28th, 2020. Students will have the opportunity to present research papers/projects and poster designs related to violence against children, orphan care, foster care, refugees, and trafficking. This is the third Care Conference hosted by Taylor University but the first academic conference to include student presenters, providing important opportunities for students to present their research to their peers and substantively build their CVs and resumes. There will also be $500 in awards granted to top presenters. Proposals will be accepted September 15-December 2019. We encourage you to consider including this opportunity in your Fall courses. You can find out more information about our program at the link below.
