The point-of-view of the text "Dead In The Water" is 1st person because it uses other people names but Hanks, Hanks is said in quotes by other people in the book, so Hank is the one speaking and he is telling the story, and Hank uses words like I and it is not in quotes so he is talking.

USS Enterprise, mentioned in the book.

The protagonist of the text "Dead In The Water" is Hank. Hank is a Naval seaman, very strong, good at baseball, never gives up, and a last man standing kinda guy.

Hank's job was to help planes take off and come in.

The antagonist of the text "Dead In The Water" is Hank missing his family, seeing dead seamen, and seeing the sunken ships from Peal Harbor and seeing ships go down.

In the text "Dead In The Water" Hank faces internal conflict, he misses his family and brother, he sees his ship and others go down, he sees his dead fellow seamen.

The resolution of "Dead In The Water" is Hank dies. At the end of book 2 it says there is a torpedo heading right for him, and in book 3 with Theo he reads in a news paper under other peoples names and it said Hank was killed in action.

The theme of the fiction text "Dead In The Water" by Chris Lynch is every man should be prepaired to lose a son in a fight to defend his own, but no mane should lose two. Hank and Theo are brothers, Hank goes into the Navy and Theo joins the Air Force. It the end of book 2, Hank's carrier goes down and a torpedo gets shot right at him. It continues in book 3 with Theo, when he was at a field hospital he read in a news paper under other people's names. He saw Hanks and it said Hank was killed in action. In conclusion, the theme of "Dead In The Water" is every man should be prepaire to lose one son in a fight to defend his own, but no man should lose two.
