Arboretum consists of 8 different garden sections: Conifers, Native Gardens, Mediterranean, Palms, Desert, Orchard, Woodlands, and Subtropical.
Students can use the Arboretum to learn about different plant species and to get a better understanding about plant environments.

The Arboretum holds special events through out the year. Some of these events include:
- VeggiePalooza - Purchase Vegetables from local growers
- California Native Plant Sale - Purchase local plants for growers
- Cactus and Succulent Sale - Purchase cacti and succelents
- Green Scene - Local plant vendor and pottery sale
- Victorian Tea - Dress up theme with tea
- Brews and Blues - Local beers and music
Event benefits for students would include the opportunity to meet people within the school faculty and community that could potentially benefit them for future career and or relationships.
Permits are required to take photos in the arboretum. Permits can be purchased for $100 and are valid for 90 minutes. One permit reserves 3 areas between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm. Group photos are limited to 10 people per picture.

Weddings & Event Services
Weddings, receptions, and other social events are held between the hours of 9:00 am and 11:00 pm only.
Rental Fees
Ceremony only: $1,100 - $1,500
Social Event/Reception: $2,250 - $4,000
Additional Fees
Event Insurance: $79 - $148
Damage Deposit: $600
Catering/Alcohol: $85/hour (max. 4 hours)
Rehearsals: $50/hour (after 5:00 pm)
Equipment Rentals: Create-A-Party (services required for all events)

Education
The arboretum offers educational courses and recreational, outdoor activities for various prices (discounted for members). Some of the current sections being offered include:
- Birds of Prey
- Botanical Illustration
- Steve Gerischer's Gardening in So-Cal Series
- Wine and Food Pairing
- Culinary
- Medicinal and Edible Plants of So-Cal
- Plants of Disneyland
- Composting Classes
- Nature Photography
- Yoga in the Garden
JEEP & CEEP Services are educational programs that teach 3rd graders and junior-high students about plant-life at the arboretum, while fulfilling educational requirements for:
- Life Sciences
- Investigation and Experimentation
- Physical Sciences
So far over 6,000 children have completed the program. Teachers can complete certification by simply filling out an application and submitting it before the deadline.

Tours
Free Tours (open to the public) are held each Second and Fourth Saturday of the month, at 10:00 am. They require no prior registration. Just show up at the Nature Center and be ready to learn.
*For groups of 5 or more people, however, prior booking of up to 2 months in advance may be required.*
Guided Nature Tours are for guests age 5 and up. Allows for up to 15 people per tour.
Guided Heritage House Tours (pictured above) are for guests age 8 and up. Allows for up to 10 people per tour. * Saturdays & Sundays, 2:00 - 4:00 pm only*
