What's new in the ZOO warsaw zoological garden

This year Warsaw ZOO presents some changes and exhibit new species for visitors.

Birds' aviary refurbishment
This year birds' cages underwent general reconstruction, what involved planting greenery, delivering rocks and arranging new logs.

Now you can find Russian tortoises in the newly build terrarium.

Also terrapins enjoy their first swim in a big aquarium.

Warsaw ZOO brought a new look for reptile section thanks to the new terrariums.

Wild cats enclosure changes.

Tiger's yard redesigned 

New decorations inside Lions' yard.

Big cats have high demands. Redecoration of their enclosure was a great challenge. They put a brand new boulder and inserted refurbished tower rocks.

Now lions can easily hide in the bushes and tree logs.

Invertebrates pavilion

Now pavilion hosts new spiders and presents new locust exhibit.

Giant spider is reaching the size of a full-grown man hand.
Violet locust is one of the new exhibits
New boxes perfectly mix into the surroundings.
Finding some species inside this terrarium might be a real challenge.
