Rent A Senior has been A North High tradition for years. This tradition involves allowing staff members and underclassmen to place bids on seniors who want to participate. The highest bidder wins that senior and has the opportunity to dress them or make them do whatever they want as long as it is appropriate.
This year there were a good amount of seniors and bidders. Bidding was held during lunch for a school week. Most of the seniors did not know what they were going to be dressed up as until the day of the event. Seniors met their bidders in the library Tuesday April 30th at 7:15 to discover how much they were going to be humiliated.
Seniors were dressed up all different ways this year and most were required at to do a activity such as sing for change. All money the seniors collected went to project graduation.
Rent A Senior is also an enjoyable day for students as well. Who wouldn't want to see their classmates embarrass themselves. Senior Hailie Scaia said "its a fun tradition that helps raise money for project grad while celebrating the senior class".
