"The World's Most Dangerous Band: Back Together"

By: Matt Szczepanski Last Edited: 1/12/16 3:45pm

Benicia,CA-- With two decades of silence of any news of Guns N’ Roses reuniting, fans may have their dreams come true.

Lead guitarist Slash left Guns N’ Roses in 1996 due to issues with their lead singer Axl Rose. Bassist Duff McKagan left soon after leaving Axl as the only original member. Although he toured with numerous musicians , people have been wanting a reunion with the classic lineup ever since the departure of Slash.

People started becoming excited when news hit that Axl and Slash had finally made peace. While rumors were being spread about a reunion, most were discarded because of a lack of proof. As more information leaked, and even the New York Times getting involved with stories, it became clear that there was something going on with the band.

Thoughts of a reunion were further expanded when guitarists Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal and DJ Ashba left the most recent form of Guns N’ Roses, leaving room for the former bandmates to rejoin.

In December of 2016 both Duff and Slash took to social media and announced that the reunion was true, and their plans to play Coachella 2016. While this excited many people, there has still been no news on if Appetite for Destruction-era drummer Steven Adler and rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin will be returning for the reunion.

Guns N’ Roses Coachella Lineup Press Release:

“Upholding a three-decade tradition of breaking ground, creating trends, and forever changing the face of rock ‘n’ roll, Guns N’ Roses announce the most significant and anxiously awaited musical event of this century. Founder Axl Rose and former members Slash and Duff McKagan will regroup to headline the Coachella Music & Arts Festival (April 15-17 & April 22-24)—as announced last night! For months, critics and audiences alike have generated immense excitement and speculation over the possible regrouping of the iconic line-up. The April performances will mark the first time since 1993 the Gunners will share the stage for what is certain to be an explosive event. For more information please visit www.gunsnroses.com.

Following the group’s 1985 formation, Guns N’ Roses injected unbridled, unrivaled, and unstoppable attitude into the burgeoning Los Angeles rock scene. The spirit went on to captivate the entire world with the release of their 1987 debut ‘Appetite for Destruction’ –the best-selling U.S. debut ever, moving 30 million copies globally. In 1991, the seven-time platinum ‘Use Your Illusion I’ and ‘Use Your Illusion II’ occupied the top two spots of the Billboard Top 200 upon release.

Over the course of the past decade, Guns N’ Roses have performed sold out shows and headlined festivals worldwide following the critically acclaimed release of 2008’s RIAA platinum-certified ‘Chinese Democracy.’ Six studio albums later, Guns N’ Roses are one of the most important and influential acts in music history and continue to set the benchmark for live performances connecting with millions of fans across the globe.”

“The Performance Level: Benicia High School vs. Vallejo High School”

By: Montanna Wilkinson Updated on January 10, 2016, 11:36pm

Benicia,CA-- Benicia High and Vallejo High are so close, yet so far apart. Being only six miles apart, they appear to be diverse in the academic and behavior section, according to recent research on SAT scores, graduation rates, and behavioral performance.

According to AreaVibes Rates and Statistics, there’s an annual average of 6,753 reported incidents to police in Vallejo, whereas, Benicia has 413 reported incidents reported to their police department, annually. The number of crimes have been noted to drop if the male graduation rate increases by five percent. Moreover, cities that conform to higher education will have lower crime rates and incarcerations in that area.

A student from Benicia High reported, “BHS offers great AP/honors class. Most of the teachers are good and there are a few that are spectacular,” on February 25, 2011. To counter-argue, a different student from Benicia High also reported that, “Finding and buying drugs is as easy as buying lunch,” on March 29, 2010.

A student from Vallejo High School reported, “The school is a joke. The school district could save tons of money by shutting down the school and sending the kids to the library,” on March 16, 2010. On the other hand, another Vallejo student stated, “Teachers in the AP classes provide a challenge,” on April 27, 2006.

Conforming to Robert Schussel with a survey given every two years at Vallejo High,

merely twenty-four percent of students feel safe coming to school and more than forty percent deal with marijuana on school property, which is double compared to Benicia High.

In addition, a few teenagers have been reported high or drunk on Benicia campus, but no other statistics on that have been published. This rate seems to remain consistent, and even increase.

Vallejo coordinators, indeed, set out to improve their educational program by offering additional help in multiple fields such as accelerated math classes, AVID, and CAHSEE preparation classes after school. Vallejo High has seen an average of a sixty-six percent graduation rate, a forty-one percent in math, and thirty-seven percent in reading.

Benicia High offers additional help, such as SAT preparation, CAHSEE, and programs to link business and education. Benicia High has seen a ninety-nine percent graduation rate, seventy-two percent in math, and a sixty-nine percent in reading.

This year has brought a slight improvement in mathematics and english classes in both of these schools. Still, administrators of these schools, as well as other schools, are still searching for answers on how to improve their educational programs and better the careers of this generation.

"Kobe Announces Retirement"

By: Weston Johnson Last Edited: January 12, 2015 7:46pm

Benicia,CA-- If you are a fan of the Lakers or merely a fan of the game of basketball, the moment you dreaded for years has now arrived. A bomb sending epic shock waves throughout the sports world has been detonated. Kobe Bryant, one of the league’s top stars and the man who was voted as one of the 50 greatest players of all time, announced this would be his last season.

The third-leading scorer in NBA history wrote a poem titled “Dear Basketball “ to announce his plans to retire. Instead of sitting in front of reporters or holding a press conference, Kobe Bryant decided to write an eloquent piece that talks about his love for the game and also why he feels it is time to walk away from the sport he loves so much.

“My heart can take the pounding. My mind can handle the grind. But my body knows it’s time to say goodbye.” - Kobe Bryant

He has been one of the greatest players for 20 years. Inevitably, playing basketball for that long will take a toll on anyone’s body. As a result, for the last two seasons, his epic career has been full of injuries.

His final two seasons started with him tearing his Achilles tendon which caused him to miss most of the 18th season (he only played in 6 games this season). After suffering such a major injury, many people said he should have given up or ended his career. However, it wasn’t enough to get him to retire.

At the beginning of the 19th season, after months of rehab for his Achilles tendon injury, Kobe came back ready to play. He started the season off a little slow and then missed 20 games due to a shoulder injury. Many said again that he should give it up and retire.

After recovering from the shoulder injury, Kobe defied them all by coming back and continuing to play. Unfortunately, he only lasted two games before he injured his knee. This year’s season would be the second straight year that he would miss the majority of the games season games due to serious injuries.

Before his 18th and 19th seasons, the least amount of games Kobe played in a season were 50 games. During his earlier seasons, he passed the ball voluminous times; however, during his final seasons he has been known to not pass the ball nearly as often as in prior seasons. As a result, he has been called the most selfish player in the NBA today.

Even though the most recent seasons of Kobe’s has not been great, his legacy as a basketball player will live on with all the records he has broken, all the medals he has won in the Olympics, and all the championships he has won with the Lakers.

“ Is The Future Really In Our Hands? “

By: Nataschia Wibben Edited Last: 18 January 2016

Benicia,CA-- As we teens make our way through school, we are told that we are the future. The decisions we make at this moment determine what society will be in the future. What not many people take into account is the inflation financial and environmental issues.

In 2010-11, tuition and fees cost $8,351 in public and $29,300 in private universities. This school year, tuition and fees cost $9,410 in public and $32,405 in private universities. According to Collegeboard, the “average published tuition and fees at public four year colleges and universities increased by 13 percent over the past five years from 2010-11 to 2015-16.”

Source: Bestinfographics

Assuming the increase percentage stays consistent, within five years, $15.5 billion extra will be spent on public schooling and $17.4 billion extra will be spent on private schooling just for a higher education. Even worse, majority will be on school loans. Not only is finance an issue, but the environment takes a toll on us too.

Another major issue, especially in large refinery towns, is air pollution. “Short term exposure to air pollution can irritate the eyes, nose and throat cause upper respiratory infections, headaches, nausea and allergic reactions. Long-term exposures can lead to chronic respiratory disease, lung cancer, and heart disease” (WWF).

An additional issue is the cleanliness and amount of water available. Out of the 7.4 billion people in this world,

“1.1 billion people lack access to water and 2.4 billion don’t have adequate sanitation” (WWF).

Also, with the drought building up over the past years, the California reservoir is nearing its low point. Thanks to El Nino slowly making its way over the coast, we are able to receive some water but not enough to level out the lakes and reservoir for many years.

With these stakes at risk, is the future really in our hands or has it been in the hands of the generations before us? One cannot expect future generations to change the world for them, but must take actions for themselves no matter how small the act.

Teens

"Teens of 2015"

By: Steven Holguin Last Edited: January 19, 2016

The teens of 2015 are different than in the beginning of the year 2000. They have accepted new responsibilities because of their new technology. Back before the year 2000, teens didn’t have Iphones so they didn’t have the advantage that teens of 2015 have now.

Now what do teens do in this generation. We post pictures on instagram just to get likes to boost our self-esteem. Instagram is a media site teens use to get connected to the outside world to see what’s going on in the media.

In school, all teens do now is go on their phones. As teens feel it’s okay to go on their phones in class, the distraction of phones increases. But students keep doing it and it’s hard to resist. Today, teens feel their phone is more important than education.

Teenagers have also been ”turning up”. But being high might sound fun to teenagers as playing video games sounds good to boys and sometimes girls. There are way these habits we all know of that can mess your life up.

Youtube still exceeds to excite teenagers. A lot of teenagers who are also gamers see youtube as a good job opportunity. But that’s only for the most popular Youtubers. Vine is also a huge part of youtube because both companies have joined together to make more money.

Just like technology is trending new trends like fashion, dances, music, etc…..But that’s not all. The amount of trends continuing from 2015 to 2016 just about 20 days ago, you have new year’s resolutions. A lot of teens haven’t really changed this is a party generation. But as School gets more challenging, the trends seem to slow down.

Fashion trends are getting pretty big now. People will be in a bad mood if they go to school not matching in their outfit or outfits. But that doesn’t seem to be a big problem lately. Style is huge in this generation. Sometimes I feel weird and uncomfortable if i don’t match. But not all people feel the same way as others with fashion.

As the teenagers of 2015 still improve with trends, they prove to be the future of 2016. As they continue to trend and maybe be what 2016 needs to spark the entertainment for the teenage world. To make teens say at the end of the year, teens will say 2016 was lit.

“College Drinking: Living For The Moment Isn’t Worth It”

By: Montanna Wilkinson Updated: January 16, 2016 1:39 p.m.

Daily, the Bay Area deals with a family member, loved one, or themselves, stuck in a situation involving alcohol. Alcohol abuse usually begins in teenage and young adults years. The want to experiment and “have fun” ends in irresponsible actions being made -- possibly resulting in horrendous outcomes.

Growing up, I’ve seen a fair share of how young adults act when intoxicated. Although I see some portraying funny or lazy attitude, I’ve witnessed people become bluntly arrogant and naive.

The root of how excessive someone may drink can come from how someone is raised as a child. Research shows that bad parenting at the age of sixteen makes children eight times more susceptible to drink at that age and more likely to become binge drinkers.

A teenager that has a guardian that encourages good behavior is less prone to drink excessively than a teenager with a guardian that places no control over them. The more of a positive influence one is on their child, the higher the chance is that they will make better decisions when it comes to drinking.

Until the age of twenty-five, many are at higher risk to make rash decisions based on their brain development. The limbic areas -- associated with emotion -- mature faster than the frontal lobes, that are in charge of judgment, impulse control, and reasoning. This prevents teenagers and young adults of being in better control of their own actions.

Not only does alcohol prevent someone from reacting to situations more intelligently; it’s at fault for poor performance in colleges everywhere. Drinking impairs the speed of information processing in the classrooms and causes many students to have hangovers -- which results in staying in bed instead of going to class. Numerous students end up receiving F’s on assignments, skip class, and score far below average on tests.

There’s also a high physical harm rate resulting from being drunk. I can almost guarantee that no wants wants to be around an aggressive drunk. The worst combination is being intoxicated and violent. This results in many arguments and physical fights.

Numerous campuses have discovered that more than 97,000 students between the ages of eighteen and twenty-four are victims of alcohol-related sexual assault or date rape.

Many people will take advantage of an intoxicated victim in their most vulnerable spot.

Personally, I would never want to be in a situation to where I was not in control of myself. The thought of not knowing where I am when I wake up and not remembering what happened the other night would be blood-curdling.

The way someone acts when drunk depends on that person’s personality. Alcohol triggers a different nerve in the brain that can make someone turn into a person we don’t even recognize.

Drinking alcohol is far too abused by teenagers and young adults. College is a place for education and building a future. There needs to be a stop at trying to live for the moment and a start to living our lives.

“Best Coach in NBA History”

By: Weston Johnson Edited Last: 19 January 2016

Phil Jackson, the coach of the Chicago Bulls from 1989-1998 and LA Lakers from 1999-2011, is the greatest person to ever coach the game of basketball. His achievements are numerous, and he has taught some of the greatest players in the NBA.

Phil Jackson has coached legends like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Shaquille O'neal. He has not only helped each one of these notorious basketball players to play at their elite playing level possible and maintain that level throughout their careers but he has also helped them to play good together as a team.

Just by looking at Phil's coaching stats you can see how dominant of a coach he was. His record for his 20 year career is 1,115 wins and 485 losses. He has earned 13 championships during this time, and has a success rate of winning the championship over 50%.

Some of his success has been due to the infamous triangle offence that he is known for running. The offence starts when a guard passes to the wing and cuts to the strong-side corner and the triangle is made from a post player of the strong-side block, the strong side corner, and extended strong side wing. With all these positions in passing distance, it gives the team a lot of options ,makes it easier for a team to score, and makes it hard for any team to defend.

Phil Jackson was such a valuable coach that the Lakers offered him a 10 million dollar contract. This made him the highest paid coach in history.

Recently Phil Jackson retired from coaching and is in the Basketball Hall of Fame. Several coaches today have studied his coaching styles so they can be as successful as he was. Even though he has retired he still thinks about coming back to the NBA and coaching because of the abundant opportunities that continue to approach him.

“How Hip Hop Changes the World: Hip Hop Rises to Popularity Since the Year 2000”

By: Steven Holguin Updated January 11, 2016

Since the beginning of our generation of music, the modeling artists Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Easy-E, and Snoop Dogg (now known as Snoop Lion) are definitely a sign of the rise of Hip Hop.These are the artists and icons that made the world of music different. They made it easy to say what they want without fearing the police or the government. Ever since this rap group NWA has changed the world, other talented individuals have gained the confidence to have their voice heard.

The rappers of this generation are Mick Jenkins, Schoolboy Q, Mac Miller, Joey Bada$$, Fetty Wap, Rich Homie Quan, Travis Scott, Tyler, The Creator, YG, Azealia Banks, Swae Lee, Big Sean, Chance the rapper, Vince Staples, Earl Sweatshirt, Young Thug, Meek Mill, Asap Rocky, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar. These are rappers that haven’t been heard but few are actually very popular.

Tracks are being produced and albums are being published every day. This generation is booming with the new dances called The Nae Nae, DAB, whip, and so on. Some new younger teens who are on youtube made songs called Lean and DAB, Hit the Quan, and the song Whip, Nae Nae.

Now you got rap gangs repping their life and spitting fire like it’s nothing. There are rappers teaming up because they are family and friends to one another. Some rappers even helped each other become famous. Now There are rappers dissing each other to see who’s better.

The competition is part of the reason why Hip Hop is getting so popular. Everybody listens to Hip Hop and Rap music. There wouldn’t be Hip Hop without Rap. If you or anyone were to think about it, rappers created Hip Hop because they are rhyming while the beat is Hip. Hip Hop and Rap are a very good combination of why Hip Hop and Rap are so popular lately. Some rappers even live like billionaires.

Let’s talk about Artists who are still popular but are producing new hits. We all know that people play the new songs everyday and then that song gets old. Drake produced Hotline Bling that made an impact on us but was also a pretty chill hit. Drake is a chill artist but still makes a big impact on us. His songs flow and they are easy to sing to. That’s one reason why he’s a good artist. Now let’s talk about Eminem, He raps like he just born to speak really fast. He raps about his life and uses metaphors in his music.

The new generation of artists have inspired many people, because not everybody lives like them.

Their lyrics make you get up and get motivated. What rappers go for is motivation to work hard like the song “Work hard Play hard” by Wiz Khalifa. This song talks about working hard and playing hard. He’s trying to get across the idea to motivate and enable yourself to work harder in order to play harder.

My point is new generation hip hop/rap is changing the world. Sometimes loud and sometimes in a quiet way. It’s even changing us, the way we act. We even use the slang. We use the attitude. This is my whole point.

Top 7 Underrated Guitarists

By: Matt Szczepanski Last Edited: 21 January 2016

7. Alex Lifeson: With a career spanning over 40 years, Alex Lifeson of Rush seems to be overshadowed by many other guitarists of the 70’s and 80’s. Known for his riffs in songs such as “YYZ” and “Spirit of the Radio,” Lifeson was largely self-taught and formed the band as an experiment in 1963.

6.David Gilmour: Known for his work in Pink Floyd from 1965 up to 2014, Gilmour ranges from psychedelic tones to more rock/blues tones which is what is mainly seen in the 1979 album “The Wall”. With over 50 years of music under his belt it was no wonder that in 2011, The Rolling Stone ranked him as the 14th best guitarist of all time.

5. Brian May: Forming Queen in 1970, Brian May is a great yet underrated guitarists compared to the others from bands in his time. His talent is best seen in songs such as “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Killer Queen”.

4. Keith Richards: Keith Richards has been playing with The Rolling Stones since 1962 and is still touring to this day. Although many people know the name of the band, they don't know the name behind the guitar. Creating the riff to songs such as “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” in his sleep shows how impressive this guitarist really is.

3. Pete Townshend: From working with The Who from 1964-Present (with some breaks in between) to having his own solo career, Pete is known for his destructive sound he has created during his career. With influences such as Chuck Berry to R&B artists like Bo Diddley, Townshend has created a sound for himself that seems to fuse all those styles into one.

2. Jack White: Best known for his work in The White Stripes, Jack White has slowly been making a name for himself for the past 19 years. With a solo career started up and being able to play alongside Jimmy Page and The Edge, White has been able to make an impact on the music industry that others tend to not acknowledge,

1. Mark Knopfler: Co Founding the band Dire Straits in 1977 with his brother David Knopfler, Mark has done a lot of work in a almost 40 year career. Although Dire Straits broke up in 1995, Knopfler has worked on film scores in films such as “The Princess Bride”, “Local Hero”, “cal”, and “Wag the Dog”. When starting his solo career, he played alongside musicians like Elton John, Bob Dylan, and even Eric Clapton.

“Hover Boards or Death Machines?”

By Lily Hayward Edited: 25 January 2016

Hover boards… The pinnacle of man's ingenuity. Fancy futuristic gliding machines providing people everywhere with hours of future diabetic safe fun. But wait, how safe are they really you ask?

Numerous “Hoverboard Fail” videos have been lighting up the internet for months

Source: Every Joe

now and have sparked the interest of many government officials. These officials later claiming that “Hover Boards are safety hazards to the public”, totally ignoring the fact that most of those videos were filmed while in the presence of stupidity. Such stupidity causing the hover borders to feel the need to do handstands, sit, and jump while hoverboarding.

Upon seeing that the human race is incapable of regulating our stupidity around something as simple as a sideways skateboard, starting January 1, 2016, Hoverboards officially have their own set of laws.

These new laws and regulations require riders to be over the age of 16, have a helmet on at all times, and may not go anywhere where the speed limit is more than 35 mph.

From where I, a remotely responsible hoverboard rider, stand, these rules are ridiculous.

Now not only are we gliding around on a 2 wheeled, 12 mile charged, 7 mile an hour max death machine, but we have the wonderful pleasure of wearing a helmet while pushing the limits of life at a whole 7 miles an hour.

After having a hoverboard for 2 months now, I haven’t even come close to injuring myself while playing with it. The truth is, if you are senseless enough to injure yourself, others, or property on a hoverboard, it’s not the board’s fault, it’s yours and you probably deserve to be wiped from the gene pool anyways. Rules and laws are not going to fix the thing that is, humanity and the always present essence of stupidity.

Health

“The Run to a Healthier Life”

By: Montanna Wilkinson Edited: 25 January 2016. 5:35 p.m.

Many people and myself have struggled with eating the right way and exercising to be and feel healthy. From billboards promoting “The new deluxe burger for $2.00,” to “Make that a large fry,” we are tempted to dig into comfort food. It’s our choice to turn away and head the healthier direction.

Essentially, the body craves carbs, such as potatoes, pasta, and french fries. Eating these foods releases dopamine into the body -- a compound present in the body that's in charge of the normal functioning of the central nervous system -- which the body strongly desires.

Both carbs and cocaine have similar effects on the brain’s pleasure center. It’s fearsome to think that the food we initially eat for pleasure has the same effect on us as an illegal drug.

There are healthier alternatives to these pleasure-craving foods. Take french fries for example. Almost anyone we ask will tell us that they have an addiction or they enjoy eating them for pleasure. A healthier alternative to french fries could be eggplants, kale chips, and baked mozzarella sticks. With lower calories, fats, and sodium, we can enjoy food for less of a consequence.

The fatty foods we enjoy have negative effects on the way we view ourselves. Foods with more fat and sugar tends to aid obesity greatly.

Obesity prevention elucidates that adolescents -- ages 12-19 -- are at a twenty-one percent obesity rate.

There’s a fine line between eating some junk food and binge eating junk food. To become healthier, we must expand our eating habits with more greens and healthier substitutions.

Not only does eating healthier make us feel better, but exercising will benefit us in the long run, physically and mentally. Three great, yet simple ways to exercise in your own neighborhood is to walk, jog, or run.

The second benefit active exercise gives us is the burning of large amounts of calories. Burning calories contributes to our physical appearance in a positive way. Fat calories are burned on a low-intensity exercise, but high-intensity exercises burn more calories faster and focus on calories of all types.

Physical activity -- such as bicycling and swimming -- strengthens our muscles and blood flow. For those who want to become stronger and more alert, there are certain exercises and sports to improve that. Anything that tests the muscle’s strength capacity, will initially help gain muscle.

Being on a football team, in MMA, or overall active, will strengthen many parts of the body and will increase agility, balance, and strength.

The best of all, is the effect exercise has on our mood.

Exercising causes the body to release endorphins -- chemical interactions with the receptors in our brain that increase our sense of joy.

There’s a decrease in anxiety and depression, along with a boost of self-esteem, when we treat our body to a passionate workout.

There is more good than harm in eating better and participating in a healthy workout. I’m not saying to never eat those potato chips and cake again, but treat our bodies as if they are temples.

The Manufacturer to Change the Guitar

By: Matt Szczepanski Edited: 26 January 2016

For over a century, Gibson has been high quality guitars. Known for their many styles of guitars, Gibson is most known for the Les Paul, the SG, the ES-335, and the Gibson Explorer. Many musicians are known to play Gibson’s such as Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Billy Gibbons, Slash, Dave Grohl, Bob Marley, and even Jimi Hendrix for some time.

Although there are other great guitar brands, such as Fender or even Ibanez, Gibson is known for a sound that most people look for when playing a guitar.

People can argue that other brands can out beat the sound of a Gibson, but to me and like most others, the quality that is put into Gibsons is a lot better than most other brands, which in result, produces a better sound.

It isn’t like the other guitars aren’t produced great, they are, but since you will see more premium woods in the most common models, you can bet you will get a better sound for the same price as some other guitars.

One of the other reasons why Gibson is known as one of if not the greatest guitar manufacturers out there, is because of their innovation.

In 1894, Orville Gibson designed a new type of mandolin made of solid carved wood and not srips of wood like others would do. This type of mandolin became known as the ‘A’ and ‘F’ type.

Orville went on to create an arch-type acoustic in the 1920’s and in 1936 created the first Electric Hollow Body to be commercially successful.

Later, in the 1950’s, Fender came out with the Telecaster which caused Gibson to start losing ground in the electric guitar scene. The way Gibson fired back, was by introducing their first solid-body electric guitar, the Les Paul.

Although discontinued from 1961-1968, the Les Paul is one of the most iconic electric guitars on the market. It was mainly brought to such mainstream from many famous guitarists playing the Les Paul such as Joe Perry, Alex Lifeson, Jimmy Page, Pete Townshend and many others.

For 114 years, Gibson has been one of the tops in the guitar markets. Like many other brands, they are expensive, but you are getting a great quality guitar for the money. With finding ways to please customers by allowing a custom shop and having historic reissues, I’m sure Gibson will stay at the top.

"Track is a Way of Life"

By: Steven Holguin Edited: 26 January 2016

First of all.. do you like running?, do your friends like running?, whom in your family likes running? That is a question that not all people like to think about. People think running is just a way to relieve stress. It’s bigger than that, for others it’s a way of life.

Running is one foot after the other, but it also make your mind race with your body. The faster your mind thinks, the faster you run. In addition, when people say running is fun, it actually sounds really boring. There is only one way to think of running and that is your own opinion.

Now how do runners feel a positive outcome from just running? It’s because you have to learn what it feels like to run for a living. Everyone has that random outburst of energy, but they choose to use it to express feelings or lift weights. People never think about running because you have to overcome your own mind physically and mentally.

It takes more than just a jog around the block to feel what runners feel. The trick to running is to control what goes on in your mind. Now the best runners do this all the time. So how is track a fun sport, well everybody knows you’ve got to understand the sport. Track is a way of life for people, similar to how running becomes a way of life.

Track runners train everyday for hours and hours until they feel like they’ve met their goals.

Track runners have friends and their teammates to push them through mentally and cheer them on. Track runners are strong physically and mentally. These people like running because it gets harder and harder to maintain a consistent path.

This path is what all runners go through and they work as hard as they need to accomplish what’s possible for them. Some of us love to run for miles and miles because we can see how far is comfortable for us. People run for miles and miles because it’s a good workout.

Now people run for competition for the prize of who is faster. Then competition starts to be a way of life. Track creates an unbreakable bond with you, encouraging you to get faster and improve.

This bond becomes your greatest advantage in life because can do what you love at any time you want. People who have created this bond will run until they can’t run anymore. Runners can understand the bond, because they have already created a connection with that bond.

Track is a way of life because it becomes your best friend. Plus it inspires others to be hard workers, passionate, and courageous.
