Artist Statement
I strive to capture the essence of the soul in my artistry by showcasing the epitome of emotion. I am constantly evolving my ability to story tell real life situations and turn them into gut wrenching smooth melodies. In my music, I tell a story of trials, tribulations, and triumphs with my styling on mainstream Pop blended with a flare of R&B Soul. I envision my music will act as a conduit for inclusiveness and community in the entertainment industry.
Artist Biography
Raised in a single parent home where he experienced family struggles, Brandon Trevon knew from an early age that he wanted to make a difference with his vocal and lyrical gifts. Born in Chicago, Illinois on September 26, 1987 raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, his interest in music began before he could walk. By age four he was dancing and singing at family gatherings. At the age of 10 Brandon joined the prestigious Metropolitan Boys Choir in Minneapolis where he traveled and performed at numerous venues, including the prominent Orchestra Hall. By the time he began his adolescence he was an experienced performer and was accepted into the John Robert Powers Performing Arts School. He rounded off his teen years by continuing to develop his gift and passion for writing and performing.
He also worked with the youth to develop their artistic talents in a program called We Are Hip Hop. Locally recognized by news and media outlets in the Twin cities for creating such a conducive atmosphere for young people to gather in a safe creative space of cultural, lyrical, and musical expression. Brandon Trevon was the driving force for the We Are Hip Hop program for six years at Zanewood Community Center from 2009 to 2015.
In 2011 Brandon discovered his love for acting, and co-starred in a reoccurring role as Deacon for a theater production titled “The Devil Didn’t Raise Me.” Brandon choose to purse acting more seriously after witnessing the production bring audiences to tears. It didn’t hurt that his hilarious and rambunctious antics opened with rave reviews from fans. His subsequent role as Javon for the production “You’re Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone” opened September 2013 touring in various cities such as Minneapolis, Denver, and Chicago. The production gained notoriety from eager fans in Mississippi, and Nebraska as well. Brandon Trevon was also a part of the prestigious ensemble of 3x Grammy Award winning music group Sounds of Blackness’ “‘Twas The Night Before Christmas” at the Guthrie Theater.
Brandon is continuing to build his fan base nationwide. He is actively writing, recording, performing, and executing a plan for his indie album project. With such a strong presence his music awards him, he’s seeking to inspire and influence many with his styling of mainstream Pop with a flare of R&B/Soul. There isn’t any height this young talented artist isn’t afraid of reaching, so be on the lookout for Brandon Trevon.

BRANDON TEVON RELEASES EXTENDED PLAY INSIDE OUT
Long Awaited New Music by Indie MN Artist
Minneapolis, Minn., September 1, 2017– After six years of only releasing singles Brandon Trevon has put together a long awaited completed project. Extended Play entitled Inside Out Features five songs showcasing Brandon’s life experiences, from loving one’s self, to falling in love with someone else. Each song tells a story and brings you closer to Brandon Trevon as an artist. The titles include: “Brand New Day”, “Run”, “Loving You”, “Ghetto Life”, and “Inside Out.”

Inside Out is a precursor for the album Trial & Error expected to be released in 2018. Brandon has spent majority of his time in the industry as a performer on sound and theater stages alike. As an Indie Artist Brandon Trevon is well known in his community and gaining new fans daily nationwide.
