Turkish mobility in Greece!

5th mobility, 1st- 5th May 2017, Katerini, Greece

The first day

Creation of the international teams

Presentation of the challenge

It seems that it was the most difficult challenge of all challenges

The challenge consisted of three missions...

The students had to programme robot to go over the bridge or go on the ramp and back to reach the goal of the mission.
The First mission

The robot had to follow black line, go over the bridge, pick the yellow item up and drop it into the yellow container.

The second mission

The robot had to follow black line, go over the bridge, pick the red item up and drop it into the red container.

The third mission

The robot had to go on the ramp, pick the blue item up, go backwards down the ramp. Then it moved to the blue container and dropped the blue item into the blue container.

Firstly each team rebuilt the robot.

Then the teams started to programming the first mission.

Here is Slovak videoblog from the first day.

Spanish videoblog from the first day of mobility.

The second day

This day the students explored the history of Greece. Teachers who prepared this mobility planned the whole day trip to Varlaam Monastery.

Varlaam monastery, meteora
The second largest monastery which was founded in the mix 14th century by hosios varlaam

The Varlaam Monastery or Barlaam Monastery in Meteora is one of four active male monasteries in Meteora monastery complex.

The main church, The katholikon, was consecrated in honour of all saints.

The third day

The students spent whole day at school and tried to solve defined missions of the last challenge.

The turkish challenge was very difficult, but as some students said, more difficult for international teams was, that not each member of the team worked or cooperated.

On the whole, there was a progress in each international team.

There is Slovak videoblog, in which students also evaluated their progress and also their team work.

The fourh day

Teachers decided to evaluated only one mission of this challenge, so teams tried to finalize one chosen mission in the morning. The other two mission students have to complete at their schools until June.

We visited the museum of the royal tombs in Aigai in the afternoon.

The fifth day

The last day of the last mobility was not only about final, but also dissemination day.

Our students in international teams showed students from other greek schools what they have learned for two project years and introduced them challenges from five mobilities.

Spanish challenge
Slovak challenge
Greek challenge
Polish challenge
Turkish challenge

There were also other greek schools with robotics projects showing their progress in programming.

The winner of the last final was each international team. Almost every team solved the chosen mission.

Finally our videoblogs from final day

Although this was the last mobility, the project activities have not finished yet.

Open robotic day....
