Shamgod has released his newest project fusing vibrant and smooth influences to create what is, “Love is Free”. The Trenton, NJ artist is now taking music enthusiasts on a journey through various installments of listening experiences. “Love is Free” is not to be seen as just a title. It is a statement of where he is in his journey and an open invitation for anyone in search of a new vibe.

The eighth track on the album is the personification of Shamgods’ intimate experience withmusic. It is a one shot moment to answer the call and give back the love his passion feeds him. Through the art of seduction he promises to cherish it as long as it lets him in. He applies that same energy to the connections he forges through his career.

Now, eight years in honing his craft, he has transformed from the artist fans once knew as Bub Luv to the stage name Shamgod. Bub Love however, was crucial for his development. He’s shared, “sometimes it’s not just what you say but how you present it on a record.” At this time he plays a unique hand in the art of curating a project that is cohesive and sonically pleasing. Influenced by artists such as Craig David, Soulection Sounds, Jay Z, and Kanye West; Shamgod has studied the art of versatility. Though he has found his sound in the electric soul genre he remains fearless and willing to push the meter beyond those lines.

Despite the name change, the production of his intimate listening experiences have brought out over 200 people in the month before the albums debut. He stands by music as the most powerful tool to connect with people and the support of his following is proving that to be true. Shamgods’ vision is to include “Love is Free” as the first part of an album trilogy. Ready to push himself past the local role of a culture creative and execute on a larger platform. The time is now.
