DC REALTORS® In support of re-electing david grosso

Meet David Grosso

David is a native Washingtonian and his pride for the District runs deep. Since being elected At-Large to the DC Council, David has committed his service to advancing DC's education standards, improving government accountability and improving the lives of the District's marginalized residents.

With education being his primary focus, David has worked to reform criminal justice, campaign finance and programs for working families. These priorities were fostered through his volunteer efforts with Salvadoran refugees living in Honduras; furthermore, he dedicated a full year building transitional housing for homeless women and children in San Antonio, Texas. David continues his volunteer efforts with Bread for the City, Miriam's Kitchen, and Food & Friends among many more organizations.

David Grosso

A True DC REALTOR® Champion

DCAR’s advocacy efforts made waves in the DC government and real estate community. Last year Councilmembers David Grosso and Jack Evans re-introduced the “First-Time Homebuyer Tax Benefit Amendment Act of 2015,” which is a Bill that would cut the recordation tax rate from 1.45% to 0.725% for first-time buyers in the District. To qualify, buyers must have never purchased a home in the District, and the property must be a primary owner-occupied residence.

Continuing A Strong Relationship

We are calling on our REALTOR® and affiliate members to help us advance our real estate priorities by investing in the re-election campaign for At-Large Councilmember David Grosso. With your support, we can insure a healthy market and community for REALTORS® and the public they serve.
