Aphrodite the goddess of love and beauty

Aphrodites symbols include the scallop shell, seashells, mirrors, golden apples, the Evening Star (planet Venus), Number 5, the ocean, and the triangle
Aphrodite was married to the blacksmith of the gods. But many stories give her other lovers, including Ares, the god of war, and the Trojan prince. In later myths, she was the mother of Eros, the god of love.

In some parts of Greece, Aphrodite was considered a goddess of seafaring and warfare. She was also associated with the myths and ceremonies surrounding a fertility god who died and was reborn annually.

She was believed to have been birthed from sea foam.
