Rainbow Bakery, established in August of 2014, serves vegan options for sweets as well as savory options. The restaurant serves the local customers in Bloomington, but also travelers from Indiana.

The Bakery is owned by Matt Tobey who has been vegan for many years. He wanted to open his bakery because he wanted people to know all of the options available if they chose to become vegan.

Local customer, Julie Brannon visits regularly when she is in town. She enjoys showing her family and introducing them to the delicious food.

Carly Gasaway (left) is a local customer who tries to come in at least once a week. She enjoys introduing her friends to the bakery including Joelle Marcum (right). Their favorite item is the lavender donut.

Julie Brannon and son, Thomas enjoy coming to Rainbow and playing the old-school Pac-Man game. Julie has to help her son be able to reach the controls by providing him with a chair for him to stand on.

Rainbow has been a part of Richard Wehrenberg's life since it has opened. He started his employment a month after the opening. He enjoys getting to know the loyal customers throughout his time at Rainbow.

Rainbow does not just specialize in sweet treats. They also offer savory items that customers enjoy for lunch.
