Machairoceratops was a late Cretaceous ceratopsian dinosaur found in Southern Utah. "Machairis," is Latin for bent sword, and "ceratops" for horned face. It is a relative of the more famous Triceratops, though was a little bit smaller, it was only about 20-26 feet long compared to Triceratop's 30 feet long, and only weighed 1-2 tons, compared to Triceratop's 3-4 tons. (Just for the record, the African elephant weighs 7.5 tons)
