The New Jersey colony was founded by Sir George carteret in 1664. Served in the British navy and became lieutenant governor of his native island of Jersey.
The New Jersey colony was consisted of catholic and protestant religions. The king was the one who told them who and what to believe.
Geography
Bordered to the west of the Appalachian Mountains. Eventually classified as the land between the Hudson and Delaware rivers.
Economy
Most men worked as farmers. They grew crops such as wheat,maize, and beans. They also traded with native Americans for spices and fur.
