Pandemic EBT
The Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) program was created to help families afford food during the COVID-19 crisis. It provides low-income families with an EBT card that contains the value of the breakfasts and lunches missed due to school closures. All students who qualify for free or reduced-price school meals are eligible.

Pandemic EBT is a short-term benefit that can help you afford more healthy food for your family during this coronavirus emergency. P-EBT provides a new, short-term benefit to cover the value of the breakfasts and lunches missed due to school closures, or about $5.70 a day. All students who qualify for free or reduced-price school meals are eligible. If you already receive SNAP for food assistance, P-EBT will automatically be added to your EBT card. If you do not already receive SNAP, a card will be sent to you in the mail. This can help stretch your grocery budgets and keep your family nourished during these difficult times.
