Introduction to Healthcare explores the basic concepts of health, wellness, and preventative care; medical terminology; microbiology; life-support skills; and the ethical and legal responsibilities of today’s healthcare provider.

Essentials of Healthcare is a medically-focused anatomy course addressing the physiology of each body system, along with the investigation of common diseases, disorders and emerging diseases.

Patient Care Fundamentals is designed to provide students interested in the careers that involve patient care with entry level skills most commonly associated with the career Nursing Assistant.

HOSA gives students the opportunity for real world experiences- as well as building leadership and life skills that will last a lifetime.”
