JOSHUA ANCHETA ELEVATOR PITCH INTRODUCTION

Electrical Engineering Student

I study Electrical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh where I mainly focus on Electric Power.

Student Electronic Resource Center (SERC)

I currently work at SERC founded by Jim and Bill in the ECE Department of the University of Pittsburgh where I assist fellow students with hands-on guidance in soldering, building circuits, and applying basic Electrical Engineering concepts to real-world projects.

Importance of serc

At SERC, we believe engineering is more than just theory—it’s about building, experimenting, and solving real problems. That’s why we give every student the chance to get their hands dirty and bring ideas to life.

At SERC, our goal is to ensure that every student who comes to us for help or guidance leaves with the confidence and skills needed to tackle practical applications safely and accurately. Whether it's soldering, circuit building, or Computer Aided Design, we’re here to support hands-on learning that complements classroom knowledge
