Voices From Sparks Street: A Letter By: helena, kate, and lucie

Dear Future Middle Schoolers,

This past year, we started a podcast called “Voices From Sparks Street “. It has been so fun and exciting creating and publishing this podcast on the Spark newspaper. For each issue, we made one new season of the podcast, consisting of several interviews of people all around the middle school. The questions we asked would change from season to season, to keep the videos interesting and enticing.

During E Block, we would go around and ask members of the BBN community if they wanted to be a part of the podcast. If they said yes, we would bring them to a room to interview. This would be followed by a series of fun questions, ranging from their favorite disney character to what they would call a male ladybug. This process has brought many unexpected laughs and moments, hearing people's answers to our questions.

We had a great time with this and it has become a highlight of our 8th grade year, and hope if anyone continues the podcast, that they feel the same. We hope that next year, someone can carry this on, making more interviews and generating exciting questions. So, we are passing the mic to you! Keep the podcast going, putting your own twists on it, and keep sharing the voices of the BBN community.
