A note from Mr Higginbottom

Hello! A couple of reminders for you this week. We hope that you've enjoyed the week. Just 2 left until half term :-) Children finish school on Friday 25th October and return on TUESDAY 5th November.

On Friday 18th October, KS2 will be taking part in The White Woods Academy Trust Times Table Rockstars Day! Children are allowed to come dressed as a Rockstar and battle it out against other schools in our trust! Dressing up is optional; football kits are not allowed. Go Swinton Queen!

We'd be grateful if you'd remember that you have a responsibility to inform us if your child is absent from school. Please telephone the school office to do this, rather than using Dojo. Please could you also remember that classroom doors are open at 8:40 and children should be in class, ready to start lessons by 8:50? Thank you.

We hope that you have a fabulous weekend - don't forget to pop and see us on the bridge, contact us on Dojo or Arbor if you need us, or pick up the phone. We always want to work with you to get the best for your child.

Have a lovely weekend!

Thank you for your continued support of our school and for supporting your child by ensuring they're at school on time and they read at least 4 times each week. If you would like to discuss any aspect of your child's time in school you can email enquiries@sqp.wwpat.org, find me on ClassDojo or chat to me at the start or end of the school day.

At Swinton Queen Primary School, children are aspirational, courageous and inquisitive; respectful of all.
