OCTOBER 1, 2024 – Condé Nast Traveler and Condé Nast Traveller UK today announced the results of its annual Reader’s Choice Awards with El Llorenç Parc de la Mar recognized as one of the Top 10 Hotels in Spain, for the 4th time since opening in 2019 on the island of Mallorca.
More than 700,000 Condé Nast Traveler and Condé Nast Traveller UK readers across the United States and UK submitted responses rating their travel experiences across the globe to offer a comprehensive look at the places they eagerly anticipate revisiting. The Readers' Choice Awards, with their unparalleled legacy as the travel industry's longest-running and most prestigious accolades, remain the ultimate symbol and acknowledgment of excellence within the travel sector. The hotel interiors are the work of Swedish designer, Magnus Ehrland. Tapping into the local history and Moorish influence on the island, Ehrland has incorporated the use of geometric motifs throughout the design. The rich esthetic pays homage to the history of the neighborhood – where one can fine remnants of ancient Arab Baths and the architectural gem – La Almudaina – a former Muslim fortress, turned royal palace of the monarchs of the Kingdom of Mallorca.
