Ronna L. Del Rosario MS in Informatics student at san jose state universitY

About Ronna

Hi there, my name is Ronna! I am in my final year of the MS in Informatics Program at San Jose State University's School of Information (iSchool).

During a time of self-reflection on my long-term career goals and aspirations, I took the leap and tried coding. From learning about coding & front-end web development, I discovered User Experience (UX) Design which eventually led me to pursue my interest in technology and now the MS in Informatics program at SJSU.

My long-term aspiration is to combine my healthcare/nursing background with my brimming interest in technology by pursuing a career where both intersect such as nursing informatics, health data analytics, or UX design. I also would like to eventually mentor others who are considering pursuing a career pivot.

When not working or studying, I enjoy spending time with loved ones and friends, reading mystery fiction and personal development books, watching anime and British mystery shows, re-energizing with boba, and taking extracurricular courses.
