last day class parties
On our last day of school for the year (Friday), each class will have their own class party. Please have your child/ren bring something to share that is:
- nut free or clearly has ingredients labelled
- suitable as a lunch food
- does not require heating up.
library books
There are still many library books outstanding. After the stocktake was completed last week, overdue reminders were again sent home with students. If your child received an overdue slip last week, please keep looking for the books and return them to school asap.
voluntary contributions
Student Voluntary Contributions are $50 per child and will be added to your child's School Bytes accounts at the beginning of the year. Voluntary Contributions are used for art and craft supplies and materials so that we are able to offer a range of activities throughout the year. Voluntary Contributions often known as school fees are just that, voluntary. No child is disadvantaged if Voluntary Contributions are not paid.
2026 books packs
Book Packs for 2026 will be $50 per student and include all exercise books and stationery throughout the year. Students will be required to supply their own pencil case, library bag and paint shirt. Pencil cases should be approx 20-30 cm long and medium sized. Supplies are your child's property and are given to them at the beginning of the year and topped up each term. Parents can opt to purchase your own stationery including lead pencils, coloured pencils, whiteboard markers, glue sticks, books etc. We will send a note when your child's supplies need to be replenished if you prefer to purchase yourself.
bus passes
If you require a bus pass for your child, click here to apply. Students who currently have a bus passes for Newrybar Public School, need to apply for a new one when they commence Year 3. This is to do with the radius you live from the school, and funding within the Department of Transport. Parents are able to apply for a bus pass on saftey grounds if you are within the designated walking radius.
