Who Can Attend?
This show is open to all Montana 4-H members enrolled in the Western Horsemanship, English Horsemanship, Small Equine, Driving, Colt to Maturity Project, and/or Green Horse Project. Project requirements and requirements for certain classes must be met to enter.
Accommodations
The official host hotel of the 2026 State Performance Horse Show is the Super 8 Hotel located at 102 Wendell Ave. in Lewistown. There is a block of rooms available, but you will need to call (406) 708-4541 and ask for the Montana 4-H State Horse Show room block. RV spots will be handled by the Fergus County Fairgrounds. The cost is $40/day. To reserve you will need to call 406-535-8841 and let them know you are with the Montana 4-H State Horse Show. There is a large event in town that same weekend, so even if you are contemplating attending it is recommended that you secure your hotel or RV spot ASAP.
