The winning team that led the fall baseball team is back

Only once in 11 years. The winning team, which led baseball in the fall, is back.

Lotte Giants' Park Jin-hyung (29) returned to the team after finishing his career as a social worker in November.

Wearing the Lotte uniform in the second round (13th overall) of the 2013 rookie draft, he had the best two years between 2016 and 2017. He was like salt in the mound as he moved between starting pitchers and bullpen pitchers.

Notably, in the latter half of 2017, he pitched in 31 games, recording three wins, one loss, 10 holds, and two saves with an ERA of 2.17. It was an iron-walled must-win group that kept Son Seung-rak in front of the closing pitcher. Lee Hae- Lotte advanced to the semi-playoff as the third player in the regular season. Since then, it has suffered setbacks in autumn baseball for six consecutive years.

The place of work was the subway, but it was not a shift. Thanks to the overall task, I had time to exercise after work.

However, while working in the subway or street crowds, rather than in baseball stadiums, people were confused and upset. Park Jin-hyeong even recalled, "I felt weird and had a bad mental state."

It was especially true whenever I saw fans flocking to the baseball stadium wearing Lotte uniforms. April to May this year was the best two months for Lotte by Park Jin-hyung. "I'm glad Lotte did well, but I felt a bit restless because Lotte was not here," he said with a smile.

Many people recognized him because he was working in Busan. "I can't say it's uncomfortable, but honestly, I'm much more grateful," Park said. "When I asked for a picture, I would take off my vest and wear it again. I didn't want to take a picture of him wearing that even though he wasn't a Lotte uniform," Park said.

"I was ashamed to be at the ballpark. I did go to Dae-ho's retirement ceremony. But I can't be with the players. It hurt so much standing behind me. I should cheer up with him over there..."

He also had a long injury. In particular, his chronic ankle injury bothered him. "Since he is a bullpen pitcher, everyone is worried about his arm. I've also heard that he should not throw folk balls. But his arm was always healthy. My ankle was the problem," he said. "From 2016. I kept running after getting injections. In 2021, I also had a rotational ankle injury. My speed decreased by 5-6 kilometers." Still, he got better with the help of trainer Lim Choong-hwan during his service.

Upon his return, he also reunited with coach Joo Hyung-kwang. He recalled the moment of his first win since his debut in 2016.

Coach Joo Hyung-kwang predicted a surprise start on Sunday, but he smashed the mound. And the opponent was Nippert. I was so nervous that I couldn't swallow my food. (Kang) Min-ho threw as he was told to throw, but he pitched five scoreless innings and (Choi) Jun-seok hit a home run, so I won. Wow, come to think of it, I'm really old. I've only heard about promising players for years."

Returning to the team, the composition of the team has changed dramatically. Most of the seniors left the team. In terms of 11 years of joining Lotte, he is the oldest player in the team along with Koo Seung-min in the pitching group. 먹튀검증

During the interview, a junior high school student visited Park Jin-hyung. However, he didn't recognize him in front of him and shouted "Park Jin-hyung!" That's why he said, "(Han) Dong-hee is looking for him." "I know all the older members, but it's a bit awkward because there are so many younger members," Park said with a smile.

"In the fall baseball season, fans wore camellia uniforms and stood in the stands... I want to feel that feeling again. Postseason? Let's go now. I will make it a reality, not a memory. Winning member will be a legend of that team. It's a dream I've always dreamed of."
