"Her life Looks perfect"

A common misunderstanding about social media is that someones life is exactly how it looks on social media

1 of 31 photos taken and the only one posted
Taking Instagram photos often takes patience and time to get the perfect shot you're looking for. Only the top image shown was posted and many other similar ones didn't make the cut.
sometimes photos have slight errors like blurs

Reasoning

I chose this photo because I like the candid look and the silhouette effect the sunset made.
All of these very similar photos didn't make the post because of small errors like awkward hand positioning, my hair blowing in the wind, bad lighting and looking very stiff and forced. A good post contains a variety of photos with different lighting and angles and creating this can be very time-consuming
This photo was also posted, and many takes were taken before the perfect shot was acquired.
All of these photos although similar to the posted one weren't quite perfect and that just reality
This photo was almost postable but there is a noticeable amount of people walking on the beach. These people are drawing attention away from the focus of the photo.

Reality

Life on Social media is not reality

While social media can be a snapshot of someone's life there is an unfiltered reality behind it. During this photo shoot, 402 photos were taken and only 8 were posted between the two of us. No one's life is how it appears on social media and take this as your daily reminder that people's social media profiles are just what they want other people to see about their life.
