Welcome to My Portfolio.
My name is Jordan Benavides. A converged broadcast media (CBCM) Student at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. I am a broadcast professional with experience in multi-camera studio, television news, podcasting, mobile television, and sports. My career began in my parent’s garage, my junior year of high school. I recorded and edited a podcast entirely from my phone weekly, involving different classmates. I then began to build a solid foundation through my work with local sports broadcasting company Rio Sports Live. I produced quality work for the company as a Play by Play announcer for CCISD High School Baseball. As a CBCM Major at UNT, I have learned important production skills, using Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, Ross Xpressions etc., through different educational courses as well as volunteer work with our student-run broadcast station North Texas Television. Below you will find recordings of my previous work provided for you to view, as well as to showcase my passion to make my work something others can enjoy and love as much as I do.
