Week In Review
This week, the Technology & Innovation team demonstrated strong collaboration and progress across multiple initiatives. Efforts included supporting parent communications, resolving help desk tickets, and contributing to visual updates like the October Lock Screen. Staff distributed devices and accessories to new students, addressed hardware issues, and enhanced classroom technology. ClearTouch panel testing and firmware upgrades advanced across buildings, while shared iPad configurations and app selections were refined. Cross-departmental coordination led to improvements in projection systems, technology procurement, and service workflows. Professional development remained a priority, with participation in the CoSN Peer Review and leadership meetings. Updates to registration systems, course scheduling, and data accuracy ensured smoother operations. Infrastructure enhancements included authentication updates, Azure migrations, and badge access panel remediation. The team also supported realignment planning, special education audits, and environmental data reporting. Overall, the department continues to drive innovation, streamline processes, and support district-wide technology goals.
Shout-Outs or Appreciations
The Shout-Outs & Appreciation section highlights team members who went above and beyond to support their colleagues, solve problems, and contribute to the success of our department. All nominated by you from the form!
Anneliese brought energy and positivity to the workplace, sparking engaging conversations with her daily “Would You Rather” questions. Baldrige, Banis, and Buckner were appreciated for their continued support with iPads, email logins, and providing extra adapters for G11 devices. Alex was commended for quick and effective support with STAR testing and for identifying a helpful tool for building techs. Jim Boulton, Robert Glemser, and Nick Taylor were praised for their swift assistance in restoring ACM systems and resolving badge access panel issues. Chris Reidler received recognition for staying focused and working closely with vendors to prepare Infinite Campus for realignment, and also for creating a discipline report that helped lighten the workload for the Special Education team. Anneliese and Pags were thanked for a successful week of transitioning roles, while Harry and Ashley were acknowledged for developing a tools order form to support tech workspace needs. Andrew, Corey, and Will were celebrated for their quick response to ACM badging panel issues, and the entire Tech team was appreciated for their ongoing support and willingness to help others understand systems and processes.

As part of our district-wide theme for 2025–26, See the Good, Be the Good, we’re highlighting moments of positivity, collaboration, and impact across our schools and ESC. Each week, staff are invited to share examples of “good” they’ve seen — whether it’s a small act of kindness, a team effort, or a breakthrough that made a difference. Here are two standout moments from this week’s submissions:
This week’s “See the Good, Be the Good” reflections brought forward meaningful moments of appreciation and teamwork. Bud was recognized for his consistent efforts in keeping the building clean, inspiring others to express their gratitude and share his impact with leadership. The technology department was seen working together to maintain network stability across the district, demonstrating unity and shared responsibility. At the ESC, Robert, Katherine, and Jim collaborated effectively to troubleshoot ClearTouch PC modules, showcasing deep technical problem-solving. CB Cyber launched with 27 students, marking a strong start to the program and reflecting the team’s dedication to innovation in learning. Alexander Koehler was commended for conducting thorough compatibility tests for STAR assessments, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted experience for students. These moments exemplify the spirit of positivity, collaboration, and excellence that continues to define our team.
