September was a month full of ups and downs. We’ve been dealing with the tummy bug coming and going, but through it all, God has been good. The little ones are growing and learning a bit more each day, and those small steps are what truly make the difference in the long run. This month, we focused on strengthening their knowledge and helping them feel confident in what they’ve learned. But it hasn’t all been hard work — there’s always time for fun too! Last month, our little ones went on an exciting outing with their aunties to the Boeremark, where they had a wonderful time seeing the animals and, of course, enjoying some delicious traditional pancakes!
Our dear Mr. P has really been coming out of his shell lately, and it’s been such a joy to see! He’s incredibly friendly and loves greeting everyone with a big smile and wave — though he can get a little sad if someone forgets to wave back. He loves helping the grown-ups and copying what they do, always eager to lend a hand.
Mr. P also has such a kind heart; if someone says “ouch” or “oh no,” he’s quick to say “sorry” and offer a comforting hug. He can sometimes get a bit distracted, so patient reminders help him stay on track. He is very aware of the people and world around him, and he throws himself into everything with so much enthusiasm and heart!
Baby P. is our little bundle of joy and cuddles! He loves being around people and lets us know right away when he doesn’t want to be left alone. He can get a bit upset when he has to do something he’s not in the mood for, but with a little encouragement, he bounces right back.
Our little one adores snuggles and playtime with his aunties, and his laugh is absolutely contagious — when he giggles, everyone around him can’t help but laugh too! He’s becoming so curious, crawling everywhere to explore. He loves his colorful books, toys, and teddy bear, and can happily entertain himself for ages. Watching him grow and discover new things has been such a delight!
Mr. NJ brings so much fun and energy wherever he goes! He’s always on the move, curious about everything around him — which sometimes means he gets a little distracted by all the exciting things to see and touch. He loves taking charge and looking out for his friends, especially when it comes to sharing snacks and making sure everyone gets a fair turn.
Lately, he’s been super proud (and we are too!) about how quickly he’s learning during potty training. NJ is such a smart and thoughtful boy, always figuring out how things work or how to solve little problems. And of course, he never misses a chance to be silly and share a good laugh with his aunties!
Our home and our hearts welcomed a new little one this week!
Meet Baby S, the newest member of our family. And guess what? Baby P has officially been promoted to big brother!
September was definitely a better month than August when it comes to our little ones’ health! We finally managed to keep those tummy bugs under control, and our kiddos are healthy and growing stronger every day — thank God!
This month we celebrated our beloved Auntie Bongi’s birthday! We also went berry picking, drove tractors, and got to visit our cow friends — it was so Moooch fun!
She’s learned signs for many important words, though she can be a bit stubborn about using them sometimes — please pray with us as we help her learn to obey in all things.
We also ask for your prayers as we begin the reunification process with her parents — that, Lord willing, she’ll be able to go home to them soon.
We gave potty training a try, but it wasn’t quite the right time — so we’ve paused for a few months before trying again. His vocabulary keeps growing, though, and he loves chatting away and asking his aunties all sorts of questions!
At school, he’s doing well! We recently introduced a sticker chart to encourage good behavior, and he’s responding really positively so far — though, as always, consistency is key. Nkateko still loves reading books and being read to, and he’ll officially turn 5 at the end of this month! 🎉 We praise God for how healthy and strong he’s become over the years. He’s such a loving boy — and such a joy to love!
Now that it’s getting hot, we’ll be spending more time by the pool and will be focusing on water safety. His speech keeps improving too; we’re helping him slow down and speak clearly.
We’ve been so encouraged by the progress this sweet girl is making! Her PT is very happy with how she’s doing standing, so we’ve started some walking exercises — so exciting! Please keep Pertunia and Debra in your prayers as they patiently work through some tough (and noisy!) days with her. The consistency is really paying off.
Naledi has been sharing so many smiles and hugs lately, and we’re so thankful she’s able to have speech therapy twice a week, which has been such a blessing. We’ll keep talking, singing, and engaging with her every chance we get.
He’s loving school, where Ale is teaching the alphabet and numbers. He’s super active and happiest when he’s running around and playing outside.
He’s also been full of curiosity, asking lots of questions, and working hard on his numbers and letters with Ale. We just love our Mr. L !
This October, we’ll keep being consistent with our little ones — with lots of love, patience, and learning! During school time, we’ll be focusing on helping them build sentences and expand their vocabulary.
It also looks like we’ll be welcoming one more little member at Muphamuzi Baby home— so stay tuned on our social media to catch all the exciting updates!
Thank you so much for reading our updates every month and, most of all, for keeping our kiddos in your prayers. See you next time!
