A great week of learning across school on our BIG questions as we explore what our community and world mean to us.
Pupils have used their Welsh language skills, shared stories and worked collaboratively. We're looking forward to our school Eisteddfod on Monday to share in Welsh culture!
There has been a noticeable presence of our pupils working together to develop their digital skills this week! Gwych!
This week in Dosbarth Gwynant, we have been busy preparing for our Eisteddfod - you'll have to wait until next week to see the fabulous artwork that we have produced!
We have also drafted scripts, and then used green screen to record and produce our own World Book Day interviews. Some of us created information posters on our World Book Day characters, while others wrote their own blurbs for their favourite story.
This week in Dosbarth Brenig we have had a big focus on preparing for our school Eisteddfod next week. We have finished our handwriting and our castle artwork and did a fantastic job!
Dosbarth Tegid enjoyed their World book Day this week. We listened to lots of stories read to us by our friends in class. We learnt to story map and we retold our stories of the Golden Harp. Making a green screen film with our book character was exciting and you can watch them on Seesaw.
In P.E. we have started to learn skills to play hockey, it was great fun and the children really enjoyed themselves.
The children have made some wonderful persuasive posters in English using Adobbe create. This is a programme that they can use at home too on their Hwb account.
In Dosbarth Padarn our friends are doing a great job at using their maths skills and applying to real life situations. We have been shopping online and using booklets to use prices and calculate costs!
One of our class projects will be to explore playground games and share them with our friends in school.
We are loving Jack and the Beansalk! Pwy sy'n cysgu yn y castell??? Who's sleeping in the castle??
While the giant slept, we.....
....stole his golden eggs!!
