F.C. Seoul's 400,000 Crowd Secrets, Women, Children, and Family Soccer Fans Increase

According to FC Seoul on the 28th, 430,29 cumulative spectators entered the 19th home game at Seoul World Cup Stadium this year. It is the first K-League club to have more than 400,000 spectators visiting the stadium.

The average audience was 22,633 people. This is the highest number even when all Korean professional sports clubs, including baseball, are combined.

The increase in spectators was the influx of new female fans and the increase in family fans.

About 47.4 percent of all spectators this season were women. This is an increase of 14.7% from 32.7% in 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic.

The percentage of children's fans also rose 2.1 percent from 14.1 percent in 2019 to 16.2 percent. This led to a visit by parents in their 30s and 40s with children. The percentage of family fans, including children and parents, recorded 49.0% of the total.

In addition, the improvement of the viewing environment affected the increase in spectators. FC Seoul, in collaboration with GS Retail, introduced the GS25 Woori Neighborhood GS app's pickup service to the stadium to shorten the convenience store usage time. This method was also applied to the food truck halftime pickup service.

The popular visit also helped. On April 8, popular singer Lim Young-woong visited Daegu FC, attracting 45,007 spectators.

On Nov. 25, Choi Hyun-suk, Yoshi, and Haruto of the boy band TREASURE performed a half-time performance against Suwon.

It also emphasized its identity as a representative club in Seoul by launching its uniform in 1995 when it was at Dongdaemun Stadium in Seoul to mark its 40th anniversary. 안전놀이터
