In Memory of Josue Bonilla
From Mr. Contarsy:
TEAM 74 Community,It is with sincere regret and deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Josue Bonilla, one of our eighth‑grade students, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. This loss is a tragedy for the family, his friends, and the TEAM 74 Community at large. Josue was well-known and deeply-loved by many of his peers. Our School Crisis Team has already begun providing support for students and staff, and will continue to do so in the days ahead. TEAM members will be available to meet with students individually and in groups to help them process this loss and to offer space for questions, conversation, and reflection.
If you would like to speak with someone regarding your child’s needs, please contact our School Counselors at 718-631-6800, or by reaching out to them directly via Jupiter. NYC also offers support: Call or Text 988
