Last Day to Sign Up for Picture Day

If your child is going to RE-TAKE THEIR PHOTO or TAKE THEIR PHOTO FOR THE 1ST TIME you must SIGN UP by Monday, January 12th using the link below. Students will NOT be allowed to re-take their photo if they are not on the list. We will send a confirmation email on January 13th to all families who completed the form. Picture Day will be Friday, January 23rd. Class Act will supply all graduates with gowns and caps to hold.

Coming Soon...the Scholastic Book Fair!

All classes will get a chance to shop on one of these dates: January 20, 21, 22 - but we need YOUR help to ensure it's a fun and successful event!

All MS74 Afterschool Clubs & Activities are posted in your child's Google Homeroom.

Lost Phone Pouch?

Replacement pouches must be purchased for $10. Only checks payable to: MS74 School Fund will be accepted.

OMNY Cards

Ms. Lee can be found in room 126 to help your child obtain or replace their OMNY card.

Opportunity for 7th and 8th Grade Students

NYU Summer College and Career Lab Program

  • Six-year program, beginning the summer before 8th or 9th grade, through summer after high school graduation, with academic year workshops throughout the fall and spring semesters
  • College-level introductory courses led by faculty, administrators, and staff from NYU schools and departments
  • Experiential learning opportunities led by industry professionals and NYU alumni
  • Unique skill-based, grade-level-appropriate curriculum led by CCL staff and advisors

7th Grade Families

Free Parent Webinar: Public + Private High School Admissions Families are invited to a free webinar hosted by admissions consultant Maurice Frumkin and test prep specialist Molly Levine. This session will cover key strategies for navigating both public and private school admissions, including timelines, common pitfalls, and how to build a strong plan. 📅 Thursday, January 22 🕒 6pm to 7:30pm Includes live Q&A.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Events in NYC

Free Concert Open to the Public: The Young People’s Chorus of New York City, the Harvard Glee Club and special guest baritone Lester Lynch present a triple-bill performance at Brick Presbyterian Church on Saturday, January 18 at 4pm. The program includes songs carefully selected to honor the iconic civil rights leader, with a repertoire including "MLK" by U2, "He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands," "Song of Light," "The Negro Speaks of the Rivers," and "Lift Every Voice and Sing."
