transportation information

Ms. Calderon is our Transportation Specialist. She will be distributing OMNY cards to students who Qualify (according to OPT).

Ms. Calderon can be reached at mcalderon28@schools.nyc.gov OR in school in room 126

What To Do If:

  • My child has been assigned to a Bus: TRACK your child's bus using the new NYC BUS APP.
  • My child Qualifies, but did not receive an OMNY card: Please see note above.
  • My child didn't Qualify for OMNY card or Yellow Bus: We are so sorry, but it is the Office of Pupil Transportation (OPT) that makes this determination, not our school staff. Please click here to learn more about Transportation Eligibility.
  • I don't know if my child Qualifies for either OMNY or Yellow Bus. Please check the Transportation tab in your NYCSA account OR email Ms. Calderon mcalderon28@schools.nyc.gov
  • My child LOST their OMNY Card. What do we do? Please see note above.

If you have secured private bus service for your child (please note, this is not something we can arrange or assist with), it is your child's responsibility to know where to meet the bus and how to contact the bus if the bus is running late. If the bus runs late, your child may wait OUTSIDE, in front of the school on the benches.

Jupiter ed - our platform for checking grades and classwork

Once your child is entered into Jupiter, parents will receive an email with log in instructions. You will be able to create a personalized account. Parents may use 1 password for multiple children who attend MS74 and toggle between the siblings. Please note: each parent needs to have their own account.
