NYS Exams: ELA, Math, Science
ELA State Test Dates: 4/23 & 4/24, make-up 4/25
Math State Test Dates: 5/7 & 5/8, make-up 5/9
Science (8th Grade Only): 5/15 & 5/16
ALL students MUST charge their school laptop the night before the exam(s) and bring the device to school, along with a book to read after the test.

All students/ families are welcome to attend the games to cheer on our boys! Unfortunately, transportation to the fields can't be provided - either before or after the game. If families do attend the games at Cunningham Park, please note it is Field 5, between Francis Lewis Blvd and 193rd Street off of Union Turnpike.
All players should join the Team's Google Classroom.
In this section, we'll be posting information that pertains to our students, but that we think our parents will also want to know about! Our students are made aware of this information in Morning Meeting Slides, shown every morning in AM Homeroom and/or through information posted in their Google Homerooms.

6th Grade End of Year Trip
6th Graders will be going to Adventureland Amusement Park on June 12th. The trip is $70, payable via check or money order to MS74 School Fund. Students should return the permission form and payment no later than May 2nd to their Social Studies Teacher.
On the day of the trip, ALL students should wear a RED SHIRT. We strongly recommend students only bring what they need on the trip and secure their items in a safe spot (zippered pocket, small bag, etc.). Students MUST arrive on time as we will be boarding the busses directly after morning Homeroom. The buses will not wait for anyone who arrives after 8AM.
Permission slips are due May 2nd!
Note regarding April's Bronx Zoo trip Dates:
Monday April 28th - Classes 603, 622, 624, 691, 693 will be going to the Zoo
Tuesday April 29th - Classes 602, 631, 632, 633 will be going to the Zoo
Wednesday April 30th - Classes 601, 604, 621, 623 will be going to the Zoo

BeeTutored Online Class is Open

The cost of the trip is $70 and is due April 11th. Students should hand the permission form and check or money order (payable to MS74 School Fund) to their ELA Teacher. Parents also need to complete the Waiver online.

What To Do If:
- My child has been assigned to a Bus: TRACK your child's bus using the new NYC BUS APP.
- My child Qualifies, but did not receive an OMNY card: Please see note above.
- My child didn't Qualify for OMNY card or Yellow Bus: We are so sorry, but it is the Office of Pupil Transportation (OPT) that makes this determination, not our school staff. Please click here to learn more about Transportation Eligibility.
- I don't know if my child Qualifies for either OMNY or Yellow Bus. Please check the Transportation tab in your NYCSA account OR email Ms. Calderon mcalderon28@schools.nyc.gov
- My child LOST their OMNY Card. What do we do? Please see note above.

Good Things to Know:
- If you move, change your number, or need to update your email address, please contact the Main Office at 718.631.6800. Please also ask your child to stop by the Main Office to pick up 2 new Emergency Blue Cards.
- If your child is out sick - please send them in with a note the day they return to school. The note should go to Attendance in room 126.
