MS74 Sing-along!

MS74 Section Sheet Winners were treated to a 6th grade chorus performance yesterday afternoon, culminating in an Auditorium-wide sing-along! It was such a fun afternoon - please click the video to hear snippets of our students, staff, and parents enjoying the festivities! Thank you, Mr. Auriemma, for MC'ing the event!

MS74 Celebrates the Holidays with Grade-Wide Assemblies!

On Thursday, December 19th our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders performed a variety of songs and dances to kick off the holiday season!

We congratulate our performers and their teachers - Mr. Auriemma, Ms. Luciano, Mr. Lopez, and our student-teacher who led the students in a beautiful South African song in Zulu!

Need to Contact Lifetouch? Missing Photo Packages? Issues with Order? Please call: 1.800.736.4753 or use the chat feature using the link below.

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we have waited for the orders to arrive from Lifetouch. If you did not place an order yet, you will have an opportunity to order directly from Lifetouch with the code in your child's Proof. If you do not like the photo, you will have an opportunity in January to sign your child up to re-take the photo on February 6th. Please keep the package/ proof and return it with your child on February 6th. They will give it to the Photographer and if you ordered a package, they will send you the same package with the new photo.

Please Complete If You Haven't Already

  1. Please bookmark the MS74 Newsletter in your Favorites and check it often!
  2. Please READ and SIGN the Handbook Page (see above). Signed pages should be returned to the Dean.
  3. Please complete the Media Consent Form, located in your New York Schools Account (NYCSA). You can access NYCSA by clicking here.
  4. Please complete the Family Income Inquiry Form by clicking here. You will need to enter 11364 as the zip code and select New York City Schools as the school district.

Student Action Items

  1. READ and SIGN the Culture and Climate Handbook, see above!
  2. Bookmark this page on a device you'll check daily, so you're up to date on news from the school with key dates (like sports tryouts, bake sales, merch sales, club events, and more!).

What To Do If:

  • My child has been assigned to a Bus: TRACK your child's bus using the new NYC BUS APP.
  • My child Qualifies, but did not receive an OMNY card: Please see note above.
  • My child didn't Qualify for OMNY card or Yellow Bus: We are so sorry, but it is the Office of Pupil Transportation (OPT) that makes this determination, not our school staff. Please click here to learn more about Transportation Eligibility.
  • I don't know if my child Qualifies for either OMNY or Yellow Bus. Please check the Transportation tab in your NYCSA account OR email Ms. Calderon mcalderon28@schools.nyc.gov
  • My child LOST their OMNY Card. What do we do? Please see note above.

  • If your child is out sick - please send them in with a note the day they return to school. The note should go to Attendance in room 126.
