Contest Open to ALL Middle Schoolers
Projekt NYC
Closes June 1st
Each year, Projekt NYC hosts a series of creative and civic minded contests that empower NYC teens to share their voices, ideas, and talents. This year, there are 2 Contests open to all middle schoolers:
988 is the new Mental Health Hotline
If you or a loved one is in crisis, the city has created a new 3-digit hotline, 988. This is the 911 number for Mental Health.
Parent Workshops
We're proud to have partnered with Marble Health. Marble Health offers numerous FREE parent workshops to help parents navigate topics that are impacting families and students.
Marble Health is proud to offer:
Managing Middle School, our new 12 week virtual anxiety group for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.
See link above to go to site. Click on "Groups" and select "Managing Middle School" to register your child.
Students will:
- Module 1: Identifying and naming negative thoughts and feelings
- Module 2: Understanding how anxiety shows up and how to respond to it
- Module 3: Building a personal coping toolkit they can use anytime
