Join us Friday, April 17th for our Parent Coffee Hour! Please complete your coffee/tea order form by Wednesday April 15th.
In recognition of Autism Awareness Month and our families with neuro-divergent children, parents can get crafty with the CriCut & help make a laptop decal for our Special Education teachers (it's a surprise for our teachers!).

Replacement pouches must be purchased for $10. Only checks payable to: MS74 School Fund will be accepted.
OMNY Cards
Ms. Lee and Ms. Calderon can both help students obtain or replace a card. They can be found in room 126 or in the lunchroom during lunch period.

Contest Open to ALL Middle Schoolers
Projekt NYC
Closes June 1st
Each year, Projekt NYC hosts a series of creative and civic minded contests that empower NYC teens to share their voices, ideas, and talents. This year, there are 2 Contests open to all middle schoolers:
Opportunity for Students of AAPI descent in NYC across ALL Grades
988 is the new Mental Health Hotline
If you or a loved one is in crisis, the city has created a new 3-digit hotline, 988. This is the 911 number for Mental Health.
8th Grade Families with Children who have IEPs, 504 Plans
On Saturday, April 18 and Tuesday, April 21, 2026 families can attend the Spring 2026 Virtual Transition Consultation Days, hosted by New York City Public Schools.
NYCPS is offering a series of FREE, one-on-one virtual consultations for students with IEPs or 504 Plans and their families.
7th Grade Families
We've partnered with Bee Tutored for several years. They are offering our families discounted In Person and Online classes - please see information below.

We're proud to have partnered with Marble Health. Marble Health offers numerous FREE parent workshops to help parents navigate topics that are impacting families and students.

Earth Day Awareness Event - Senator Liu
OUR Theme: Our Power, Our Planet! The Senate’s focus is to emphasize the importance of recycling and waste reduction, to encourage the exchange of ideas about recycling and waste reduction among schools, children and adults and to stimulate creative thinking about solutions to problems concerning recycling and waste reduction. We are asking students to submit an original poem, essay, or artwork.
