8th Grade HS Info

If you are attending Cardozo High School next year, please note that Orientation is Monday June 30th 9AM for Students Only.

Summer Rising

Students who were accepted to MS74's Summer Rising Site, please note:

Buses and OMNY cards are assigned by the Office of Pupil Transportation. There is NO APPLICATION. They will make that determination based off the address in your NYCSA account. That information is posted your NYCSA account; please check the Transportation tab.

All Summer Rising paperwork needs to be submitted/ delivered to the Community-Based Organization that will be overseeing your child this summer. Paperwork cannot be brought to MS74.

If your child got into Beacon's Program from George Ryan, please bring the paperwork to MS216, room 119.

If your child got into Beacon's Program from Marie Curie, please bring the paperwork to MS158.

Good Things to Know:

  • If you move, change your number, or need to update your email address, please contact the Main Office at 718.631.6800. Please also ask your child to stop by the Main Office to pick up 2 new Emergency Blue Cards.
  • If your child is out sick - please send them in with a note the day they return to school. The note should go to Attendance in room 126.
