- If you move, change your number, or need to update your email address, please contact the Main Office at 718.631.6800. Please ask your child to stop by the Main Office to pick up 2 new Emergency Blue Cards.
- If your child is out sick - please email Ms. Sacramone at esacramone@schools.nyc.gov to let attendance know.

NYCPS Family Survey is LIVE
Please exercise your right to let your voice be heard and complete the Survey today! The Grade with the MOST SURVEYS completed by March 13th (min. 50% of the grade) will win a treat at lunch, courtesy of the PTA!
To complete it online, click the link below. You will need your child's OSIS #, which can be found in their report card, in NYCSA, or in Jupiter.
Career Day Volunteers - We Need YOU!
Please join us Friday, March 13th from 8:15 to 11:15AM!
Share your career journey with our students! Each presenter will speak for approximately 10 minutes, in three classes.

Middle School 74's Athletic Department is selling new merch, open to all Hawk fans! Merch will ship directly to your home! Check it out below - the store will close Saturday, Feb. 14th!

Replacement pouches must be purchased for $10. Only checks payable to: MS74 School Fund will be accepted.
OMNY Cards
Ms. Lee and Ms. Calderon can both help students obtain or replace a card. They can be found in room 126 or in the lunchroom during lunch periods.

We're excited to announce that our school has partnered with New York International Children’s Film Festival. There will be a ton of fun, thoughtful, and all-new film programs to spark your kids’ curiosity and imaginations. Even better, our school earns $2 back for every ticket you purchase!

Summer Arts Institute
NYU Summer College and Career Lab Program
- Six-year program, beginning the summer before 8th or 9th grade, through summer after high school graduation, with academic year workshops throughout the fall and spring semesters
- College-level introductory courses led by faculty, administrators, and staff from NYU schools and departments
- Experiential learning opportunities led by industry professionals and NYU alumni
- Unique skill-based, grade-level-appropriate curriculum led by CCL staff and advisors
Application Opened January 15th
Summer Employment for 8th Grade Students (14+)
NYC's Summer Youth Employment Program connects NYC youth between the ages of 14 and 24 with career exploration opportunities and paid work experiences each summer. Students MUST BE 14 BY JULY 1, 2026.
Once your child turns 14, they should see Ms. JC in room 129 to obtain the form for their working papers. Students will need a Physical, the completed & signed Form, and an ORIGINAL document of Birth - Passport or Birth Certificate (that will be returned).
