This week in Year 4 we’ve been busy across all our subjects!
In English, we turned our persuasive writing about joining our school into an advert, ready to perform in our upcoming assembly – we especially enjoyed exaggerating our voices to make it really persuasive.
In Maths, we’ve been exploring place value using number lines, rounding numbers, understanding Roman Numerals and even tackling negative numbers!
In Art, we looked closely at tone, proportion and texture. We had great fun creating scissor art and then turning it into striking hatching wax work.
On Thursday we also enjoyed some extra break time as a special reward for achieving our second 100% attendance in a row!
In PE we have been looking at the principles of attacking and defending in games.
In Music we listened to rock and roll music and created our own hand jive to a count of eight!
