Pride Game
In conjunction with LGBTQIA+ student organization Common Ground, we welcome you to today's Pride Game, supporting all teammates, coaches and fans who bring heart, energy and passion to the rink. For years, the Purple Knights have been inspired by the You Can Play Project, which is dedicated to ensuring equality, respect and safety for all athletes, without regard to sexual orientation and/or gender identity. They are also sporting Pride Tape, which supports LGBTQ youth outreach initiatives and promotes diversity, equality and inclusion through sport.
Saint Michael’s College, the Northeast-10 Conference and the NCAA promote good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments, or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches, or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the venue. Also, consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages or tobacco products is prohibited.
