Mission
Men’s Basketball Performance takes a hands-on approach to enhance the performance of each student-athlete, using ground-base training. We believe that this is the only area where there is an “I” in team, as each individual student-athlete is treated as such. We cater to the needs of each student-athlete to help them excel on the court, stay healthy and reach their genetic potential. Our program focuses on the overall athlete as our training consists of sport science data; nutrition; recovery; and building an explosive, strong and agile athlete, all while preparing him to be in the best shape of his life.
Randy Towner, Head Strength & Conditioning Coach (Men's Basketball)
Towner worked with the Milwaukee Bucks from 2022-24. Prior to that, he was involved with several college basketball programs, including UTSA, Utah, UAB and Utah Valley, where he worked alongside Pope during the coach’s time with the Wolverines.
